Hi Shelley,
Was trying to get rid of a congested, mucousy sore throat, so I took some grapefruit seed extract with a little bit of water. Gargled a bit and swallowed. I guess it wasn't enough water and my tongue was burning as if I took a sip of very hot tea.
It's feeling a little better now, more like having ate a red pepper now.
Not the most brilliant remedy for sore throat but, sore throat was gone in a couple hours after swallowing. Just dealing with this tongue burn now.
Any ideas on what I can do to hasten my poor tongue's recovery?
Thanks,
Leana |

| OH dear, so sorry I missed your post. Hope your tongue's okay now! For future reference, if it starts burning, sometimes gargling with baking soda will help. Or, if it's a yeast issue, an acid like a vinegar and water solution is better. |
