Contact lens solution

Hi all, haven't checked in in a while. Hope everyone's doing fine

This question somewhat relates to grooming so I have posted it here:

I recently got a new job which I am very grateful for and it is also a great job. For my current job, I dress sloppily, Tshirts glasses etc. For my new job, I have to dress in business shirts, slacks etc, basically look good cos it is a upmarket firm and I am no longer a junior staff.

I intend to wear contact lens to work everyday. With glasses, I just don't match up to that image required. Anyhow, i am very concerned about the metal toxicity of contact lens solution. Any contact lens solution out there which are metals-free? How can I circumvent this problem of metals in the solution?

Should I resort to Lasik? my eyesight is around 900 degrees (short-sightedness + astigmatism) in each eye. Will problems show up later in life as a result of Lasik?

Most contact lens solutions are just variations on electrolytes. Nothing to worry about.

Lots of people look MORE professional with the right pair of glasses. I love wearing glasses if I'm working at an office.
