Oftentimes, I have mucus in my stools; however, yesterday I had a bloody one ... fresh red blood
... I don't think it's hemorrhoids ... 'cause I don't have any pain when I pass a stool ... can it be a bleeding intestine ?? and why ??
and how can I tell the difference of EXACTLY what it is ??
I'm a little worried hence any advice would be highly appreciated Shelley ... and is there anything that I can take for it ??
and/or any particularly helpful foods I should be concentrating on ??
Another thing ... any tests that u would suggest ??
Thank-u very much ... wishing u a very Happy New Years !!

| bleeding is not good. When there's bleeding you have to get all the tests done you can and make sure it's not something serious. Colonoscopy, etc. As soon as possible. Avoid fiber in the meantime, stick witih a liquid diet. Go to the emergency room if your temp rises above 99 or 100 degrees. |

I hope it's nothing serious! Chances are it's just inflamed divirticulitis. |
