How do dogs handle milk or kefir?
My dog has gotten really gassy lately. I saw mention of Probiotics in another thread. I was hoping that would help her. I can give her Primal Defense, but she is not much of a pill taker. I would rather just put some milk or kefir in her dish. |

| You can give them kefir, I don't recommend milk, it tends to give diarrhea. doses of Kefir on her food, and buy a can of pumpkin and give her a couple spoonfuls a day, couple times a day, for a couple days. Don't give her PD, it's the wrong type of microbes. |

Darn,
I did give her Primal Defense, but only twice now. I will stop. Her gas has disappeared and it might have been before I gave her the PD anyway. I think I will do the kefir on her dog food and some pumpkin too just to strengthen her stomach and digestion. Thanks as always. |
