Hi Shelly!
I went to my GY yesterday and he had a machine called the BioPhotonic Scanner which is used to measure antioxidant levels in your system.
I took the test where you put your hand over a blue light for about 2 minutes and it gives you a reading.
As I was leaving the office, my arm felt warm. Driving home it felt warm. Last evening and today, it has this heavy, tight-muscle, pins and needles feeling and is weaker.
I talked to my doc today, he said that was not possible, that it is just a blue LED light. It is a blue laser light that is set for 473 nm and is supposed to bounce light off the skin and sends the info back to this unit.
Reading about it last night, it was developed by the University of Utah based on the Raman theory and won awards. All great but, that doesn't explain why my arm feels like this and sure as heck didn't before.
Does this make any sense? I didn't do anything to my arm to injure it. I talked to the manufacturer and they said it couldn't do anything.
All I know is my arm is weak, feels warmer than the other, is sensitive to pain, pins and needles in my finters and my right arm isn't. Any ideas?
Thank you, have a very Happy Thanksgiving. |

I believe that now but want to understand why my arm and hand are feeling this way? Could it have messed up a nerve or done any damage to something?
I don't usually do or believe in those things but when I go to a doc, I always feel pressured if they suggest something. Probably from all those years when I had to see so many docs and they act like if you don't do what they say or suggest, they don't want to work with you.
This is two days later and I still have the tingling and stiffness.
Please tell me your opinion on what you think may have happened and if there is something I can do. I don't to think it will be like this for a while or longer.
Thank you, Happy Thanksgiving
