Hi Shelley,
My BMs have a greenish colour - I checked the stool diagnosis section of the FAQ and this seems to be ok:
'Other colors such as green or orange represent the foods or which microbes went to work to fully digest the foods and aren’t a worry. Green is sometimes bile full of cholesterol that moved so fast it didn’t have a chance to turn brown.'
Am I interpreting this correctly? Is there any cause for concern?
Thanks for your help as always,
Dave |

You interpretation is correct - its almost certainly bile.
No need to worry.
But just keep an eye on your future bm's. You *may* get a period of very light coloured stools following - due to a lack of bile. Be on the watch out.
The only question is why this happened - which you may want to know for your own sake. Where you doing a liver flush? Did you eat/do anything unusual?? |

| I am taking Chinese Bitters and Gold Coin Grass at the moment. Also the cleansing and protein drinks - both twice a day. The rest of my diet is basically chicken, salmon, steamed vegetables and nuts. |

Bingo! Its certainly the CB and GCG which caused your green bm's. Shelley is more familiar with these products than I am. Maybe she can explain how/why they would cause green bm's. |

they help the liver to dredge out old fats and toxins whether you have eaten oils or not, and tend to decrease transit times. The combo = greenies! |

I'm also eating loads of green veggies at the moment - is it possible they are contributing?
If the Chinese Bitters and GCG are the culprit, are the green BMs likely to persist until all the toxins are flushed out? Would a return to a more normal colour indicate that my liver has been well purged of toxins?
Thanks so much for all the help! |
