Vaginal Polyps?

I friend of mine believes that she may have vaginal polyps so I'm doing some research. What is the usual cause of these kinds of polyps and what can she do to get rid of them (without surgery)?

are they like warts/cysts outside the labia, or inside the vaginal walls?

We all have viruses on our skin all the time, various versions of herpes, but so long as our immune systems aren't compromised, nothing happens. If our pH gets off enough, or acidophilus colonies are reduced, or skin is compromised by poor nutrition, then they can get a grip and cause various types of cysts by interrupting the normal skin cell replament process.
