| i don't know where else to post this. ive had candida for quite some time now and something happened a few months back and i now know what it is. a few months ago, i was in a very very stressful time and at one particular event, it was so stressful that osmething happened to my stomach. i felt stress chemicals shooting out of my gut. after this, my gut started rumbling, churning, aching, anxiety and depression got worse, candida jock itch got worse. also, i noticed my lower back became heavy when i needed to have a bowel movement. when i had a bowel movement, the pain got better. also, my bowels went from looking pretty normal i think to being runny now. that was in like march. i researched it and it is definitely IBS. this is just another problem on top of all the other problems and i know it was caused from stress. anyone else have this and if it was caused from stress, is reversing the stress the only way to correct it or is this a lifetime ordeal? anyone else have this? |

You have to reverse the stress, definitely. If you can't change your life, then you can adapt your body somewhat by taking adaptogenic herbs, preferably a combination that includes ginseng, astralagus, etc. Planetary Formulas has a good one.
The other things you can do include a massage/spine adjustment/acupuncture, whichever you prefer, as stress will often throw the back out and slow down recovery and increase symptoms. It's a good idea to stretch out and soak in a tub whenever you've had a bout of extreme pain.
Remember the rules for diarrhea - plain, bland, cooked foods until it subsists, and plenty of Rehydration drinks and broths. Best to avoid refined flours and raw fruits for awhile. |
