Hi Shelley.
IMy tongue has been very sore right in the center (from both directions) for over a wek now. I had a cut mark going accross the area where it hurt, but now the mark has changed to a V shape. It's right over the sore spot and it continues to be sore. Any ideas what it could mean? |

Hi Treader!
Inflammation of the tongue can be caused by a lack of Vitamin B2, Vit B12, folate, iron. Analyze your diet and figure out which ones you need and take them for a couple weeks.
Cracks are caused by irritation, which can happen during cleansing and are to be expected. If you're NOT cleansing, then you need to do a short cleanse. Stop eating whatever is irritating you, drink more fluids, eat more safe fibers such as blueberries and vegetarian soups.
Hope that helps! |

Yes, thank you. I probably do have a B vitamin shortage, but it's because I have a very resistant protozoa infection of B. Hominis that I can't get rid of. It thrives on B vit's so I try to stay away from them and just stick with food that should meet my needs. When I use B supps, it just feeds the parasites. I suspect that I also have some kind of fungal infection as well which like B vit's.
The tongue spot isn't sore anymore, but it has gone from a cut mark to the size of a dime. The area is clear and looks like it is sunken a little. Seems to be getting bigger and bigger, just like my appetite. Unfortunately I am 30 lbs underweight and can't gain any back, no matter how much I eat.....i just always seem to be hungry. |

Ah, then the marks on the tongue could be the irritation caused by parasites. Do whatever you can to reduce your parasite load and drink tons of bone broths because we tend to get most of that nutrition right in the stomach before it moves on to those pesky parasites.
Usually when there are protozoas there are other baddies that made the environment more friendly to them. Have you done the parasite expulsion protocol to see if you have larger worms? Have you been taking in kefir to keep candida at bay? |

I've done quite a few parasite protocols over the last 5 yrs. Hulda Clarke's 3 times. I did one program that was 3 months in duration and costs big bucks....it was suppose to get rid of the Blasto, but it didn't. I can't imagine any worms living through all that stuff. The only visible parasites that I ever saw were intestinal Flukes which came out at the end the the first HC 14 day cleanse. I also took the Rx meds for flukes and worms a few times over the years.. Plus I've done tons of heavy duty 3 and 4 combo med protocols like Flagyl/Secnidazole/NTZ/Furoxone/Quinacrine/Bactrim/Humatin.
I make my own yogurt, and I was drinking homemade kefir for a few months, but I'm pretty sure that the Kefir was feeding the yeast because of problems that developed during it's use. Maybe I was taking too much. I was having 3 cups of Kefir and 2 cps of yogurt a day. Kefir has too much milk sugar left over that isn't converted to galactose. Maybe it was the combo of parasites and yeast together. |

| oh yes that's way way way too much dairy, even fermented. All that calcium would constipate you too. It was probably the yogurt that gave you the problem. I don't recommend yogurt, it has the wrong microbes. And you only need 1/2 cup of kefir a day to keep your colonies healthy and propagated. So learn moderation in all things! Are you overdosing something else that is causing the irritation? |

| I'm probably having too many grains, as I have been kind of celebrating being able to consume them again without any problems after completing 6 weeks of heavy parasite combos. It is possible that they were cleared this time, and that the irritation is from all the grains and cinnamon that I am putting on them. The area actually looks like it could be a sign of clearing going on...maybe clearing yeast with the cinnamon and PB & Capryol shakes that I am taking now. It feels so good to be able to relax my diet a smidge after being so strict for so many years. It doesn't have the cut marks anymore, just an expanding very clear area that is moving in an outward direction from the center. |
