I have a few concerns over my Blood test Results ...
HEMATOLOGY:
Ferritin 9 LOW (20-306)
HGB 119 LOW (120-160)
HCT 0.35 LOW (0.37-0.47)
RBC 3.76 LOW (4.20-5.40)
MCH 31.7 HIGH (27.0-31.0)
MPV 11.4 HIGH (7.4-10.4)
ENDOCRINOLOGY:
Testosterone 0.55 LOW (0.70-2.60)
URINALYSIS MICROSCOPY:
Erythrocytes 5-10 (0-5)
Epithelial Cells Few
Bacteria Some
URINALYSIS DIPSTICK:
pH 8.0 HIGH (4.8-7.5)
BIOCHEMISTRY:
VITAMIN-D 1, 2 5 OH : 218 HIGH ( 41.0-145.0)
- I'm worried about my Vitamin D levels as they're extremely high !!
What does this mean ??!!
- My testosterone levels r very low and that in itself doubles the likelyhood of
Anemia, puts me at high rish of hip fractures, bone LOSS, brittle bones, muscle
LOSS, anxiety, depression, drop in sex drive ( which I most definately have ...
LOL), constant tiredness, low AND no energy actually ... furthermore; I'm
at high risk it seems of dying from a heart attack ... and to make things worst ... I've read is that Estrogen replacement drops our testosterone levels !!
- High TGMH levels is low oxygen ??
That also seems to lead to heart disease, kidney disease and lung disease ...
- VPM levels r also high ...does this mean that I have artritis or
am at high risk for it ?
The pH is a measure of how acidic or alkaline (basic) the urine is. A urine pH of
4 is strongly acidic, 7 is neutral (neither acidic nor alkaline), and 9 is strongly
alkaline. I take it that mine is Alkaline instead of Acidic ??
What's going on here with me ??
Seems to be that everything about my blood tests
leads to kidney, lung or heart disease
Am I justified in worrying or NOT ??
My symptoms:
Constant burping, bluish/whitish nailbeds, bloodshot eyes, sour bitter taste in my
mouth when I wake up in the AM, constant fatigue, no energy, low blood pressure,
problems breathing properly ... etc ...
I have a very healthy diet since 4 months now, I'm following the bloodtype diet ...
I just don't get it?? :-X
What's ur assesement Shelley ??
I want to be prepared and armed before seeing my GP 'cause it seems to me that
he has NO CLUE
LOL
U're the ONLY person that I know of that can shed some light perhaps ... I would be most grateful ... Thank-u |

Oh my! That's not great, but don't worry, if your creatinine and BUN levels are within normal limits this is just a temporary thing.
To acidify your urine and kill off the bacteria, that's easy. Just drink as much cranberry juice as you can stand, and take 500 mg of Vitamin C 1-2x a day for 3 days, or as often as every 4 hours until you get diarrhea. You need C anyways and it's the safest way to acidify.
C will also improve iron uptake. You need lots and lots and lots of iron!!! Which probably means your stomach acids are near non-existent and that's why you burp every meal, it's simply not digesting and therefore causing backflow. Your liver is probably congested too. Best way to get iron is to use blackstrap molasses as your only sweetener. Use it on/in everything, especially the Cleansing Drink. Plus get a non-constipating supplement. "Now" has one that's very very good. It has a bit of C, B12, to really help build red blood cells.
For the testosterone, that's a tougher issue. Most people advise taking DMSA and letting the body make its own. But I think you should find out what's interfering with your body's regulation of progesterone. Do you have lots of mercury fillings? Taking MSM should help in that case. Or perhaps a severe zinc deficiency?
Figure out why you have too much D, as too much can hurt the kidneys, and once hurt, they don't heal. Calcium helps the body reduce D, but you'll have to find a calcium supplement that has no D in it.
Hope that helps!

Hi Shelley and I thank-u so much for ur prompt reply, U're so very helpful !!
My creatinine level= 71 ( Normal range = 44-123 )
What do u think ?
I will go do to BUN levels next week and get back to u
I've been drinking pure 100% unsweetened cranberry juice diluted with water
'cause that stuff is nasty
LOL
I've also been eating kiwis since that has ALOT of Vitamin-C;
however, I can't afford to get diarrhea though 'cause I gotta work ... sigh ...
I do use blackstrap molasses on a very regular basis and I have been cleansing my liver with foods that u mention and my tests show that;
ALT= 16 ( Normal range= 5-60 )
GGT= 9 ( Normal range= 7-64 )
I've ordered the IRON COMPLEX 250 TABS Non constipating - NOW FOODS, THANKS SO MUCH !!
My tests show that
B12 level= 169 ( Normal range= 100-550 )
Folate= 11 ( Normal range= 4-27 )
YES, I do have some fillings and btw my dentist told me many years ago that I
had alot of acidity in my mouth; however, at the time I didn't really understand
it and didn't inquire further ... sigh ...
I'm NOT sure if I have a severe Zinc deficiency problem;
however, if I can do a test for it, I will ... I do eat ALOT of curry powder, beef and 2 eggs twice a week.
How can I tell if my kidneys have been hurt by too much Vitamin D
I have absolutely NO idea how long I've had this situation going on 'cause I've never tested for Vitamin D before ( I'm 44 years old ).
I beleive that I do eat ALOT of foods that contain Calcium ...
My blood test results:
Calcium= 2.30 (Normal range= 2.16-2.56)
Do u think that it would benefit me to go see an Endicronologist ??
U r so totally wonderful
A great big hug to u  |

You can't tell whether your kidneys have been hurt until they stop functioning. Until then just be careful with your supplementing. You have proof that D is somewhat higher than what's normal for the public, but we don't know how high it has to be before there is kidney damage. Probably pretty darned high. So just stop taking any supplement that has D, and take a bit of calcium for a couple weeks. That will bring D down to normal levels.
Hardly anyone gets enough zinc, it's safe to assume you're at least a little deficient. Take 50 mg chelated zinc daily for 2 weeks and see if any symptoms alleviate or whether your skin improves.
An endocrinologist or internest, yep, after you take zinc and make sure your issues aren't due to deficincies. |

| Jikes, can't tests show if there has been even little damage to the kidneys? |
