yep, they're coming out at the root. You're just losing the newest growth, the shortest hairs.
Interesting that it's just the right hand. That would indicate that the dryness is due to mineral imbalance, unless there's something you do with your right hand that you don't do with your left, such as work with chemicals. You may be overdosing on calcium or magnesium, or way too low on iron, choline, iodine, or you may have too much of a heavy metal that is right-side dominant or interferes with cal/mag such as arsenic or lead. |

Nope, I don't work with chemicals so it must be mineral imbalance then. I don't tale calcium or magnesium, atleast not in pills. I've been eating alot of beans, which should help if im low on iron?
Should I switch to iodized salt?
I've been adding uniodized sea salt to my foods.
Having too much of a heavy metal could be when you eat canned food?
I don't eat much canned food, so I probably don't have this? |

| just canned food? Keep reading about heavy metals, they are EVERYWHERE. Did you not read my post on environmental toxins, where they are? such as that new car smell? wooden decks? wooden furniture? smog? Google it. |

That's too much, first all the cleansing, now heavy metals, im gonna go crazy lol, i'll just try to fix my problems by taking calcium, iodine, iron, etc. But I guess I'll read on them.=/
Where should I get my iodine from, should I buy capsules, iodized salt, or that kelp stuff? Salt would be the easiest and cheapest, but I don't know if it's the better way.
I have two more questions, can I do the liver flush with grapeseed oil instead of olive oil?
How often can I do saltwater flushes? |

NO iodized salt, the body can't use that iodine, it just gets stored. Seaweed and seafood, particularly caviar, are best sources. If you're not into those types of foods, then get something like Atomidine or an iodine supplement that's just the RDA - overdosing is not good.
You can use any oil your body likes except for coconut oil. The lighter oils go down easier.
Saltwater flushes are quite harsh. Only do them once a week. Some people manage 3x a week but I wouldn't. |

Ok, no iodized salt it is.
I'll buy some seaweed, is it the same kind of seaweed fish eat?
I used to feed my saltwater fish seaweed, wich looks just like some seaweed I saw at henry's. Would eating this seaweed stuff once a week be enough, or what do you reccomend?
Tell me about it(saltwater flushes), I did my second one yeasterday and I felt like $H!$&*^* lol, and the saltwater tastes terrible. |

| seaweed is seaweed! but seaweed for people has been cooked and prepared with spices so that it tastes good, but that type often has MSG so be careful. The best type of seaweed is Kombu, which you can't just eat unfortunately, you have to make broth with it. Use it in soups and kichadi. |

Thanks for the info.
BTW, is there a thread where you talk about dehydration?
I drink nothing but water and have dry lips all the time, maybe I need to drink more, but I don't know, I urinate alot, and don't really want to go to the bathroom more times then I already do.
Also, I used to get really bad acne on my cheeks, which I think you mentioned somewhere that it could be dehydration, so I seem to be dehydrated, although it's weird cause I drink more water then anyone from my family does, and im the only one that gets dry lips, acne, etc, when im supposed to be the healthiest one.
I'll do a search about dehydration. |

| Dry lips is not always about dehydration. Sometimes it's a lack of EFA's. Since you have acne, I would bet it's that - you're lacking good fats and/or the ability to digest and utilize them. |

I really think you're right, I seem to break out alot more when I eat fats, I think my chin breaks out more, and also between my eyebrows when I eat fats, even if they're healthy(I rarely eat bad fats), I started taking solaray digestive enzymes like 2 weeks ago, the smelly gas I used to get went away, should I add some digestive ensymes just for fats?
Do you know if solaray makes digestive enzymes that are just for fats?
For example, Solaray Bromelain is for protein http://www.smartbomb.com/slr4843.html , but I can't find one for just fats. |

| if you're already taking digestive enzymes then that is not the problem. You could be low on B vits, or have very dirty bile. Try lecithin and NYF for a week or two, perhaps some fat-dredging liver herbs like Chinese Bitters. |

NYF and Kombucha do wonders for my skin. As does lecithin. I had bad acne on my face and neck for over a year and once I added those three to my diet, particularly the NYF and lecithin, my acne went away and my skin looked a lot better, had a nice glow and smoothness.
When I'm low on good fats, my lips crack and peel, too. I had peeling lips my entire life, then went off the fast food and started taking sunflower oil, wheat germ oil, olive oil, coconut oil, and cod liver oil and my lips stopped peeling. The only time they peel now is when I try to put non-organic lipstick on them, which I never do. Something in whatever they put in regular lipstick dries my lips right out and makes them peel like crazy. Lip gloss is fine, but not lipstick unless it's Aveda or some organic brand. |

I do take lecithin every once in a while, I try to take it every day but I forget. I also have NYF but rarely take it, it's just a PITA to make it three times a day cause of all the other things I have to take, but I'll try to take it everyday from now on. I've never heard of chinese bitters, are these cheap?
Dirty bile? isn't a colon cleanse suppose to take care of that? I did 2 already, the second time I did it, I had a bug pimple(or cyst, not sure what they're called) and did the colon cleanse and it didn't really go away.
Also, I still have smelly gas every once in a while, and I've been taking digestive enzymes with every meal.
I've been taking a teaspoon of grapeseed oil everyday(just before my first meal), that's good right?
Oh, almost forgot, what is the maximum amount of HCI one should take(each day)?
Thanks Shelley and J F |

you can add NYF to anything you make, even salads, or eat it off the spoon so it doesn't have to be a pain to have it. Same with lecithin.
Chinese Bitters are an herbal tincture that you get at www.sensiblehealth.com.
A colon cleanse will cleanse bile ONLY if it's a fiber-based cleanse and you take oils right before the fiber shake.
Take however much HCI works. Occasionally cycle it out and take different things to acidify the stomach, such as unbuffered C, ACV, lemon juice...
Smelly gas is from protein digestion. If you're only occasionally getting that, then it means that some of your meals either have too much protein for you to do digest, or you're combining things with it that cause fermentation, or you're eating too much salt and that's inhibiting your pancreas. |

I've been adding the lecithin to salads, and also with the teaspoon of grapesed oil.
I'll look into the chinese bitters.
So a salwaterflush will not cleanse the bile?
Hmm, I thought it did, I'll read on the fiber based cleanse, that's the bentonite and psyllium husk shake am I correct?
The reason I asked about the HCI, is because the digestive enzymes I take have some, and the multi vitamin I take has some aswell.
How do I know how much HCI is right for me?
I've been having loose stools(sorry, this is gross i know), does it mean too much acid, or not enough acid?
ACV kind of makes my stomach feel weird, I think it gives me gas, and makes me break out(i think, im not completely sure).
Right now I feel like something is going on in my stomach, then there's gas, then again, my stomach starts moving and then gas, and so on, it sucks. I think this is the same feeling I get when I take ACV.
Do beans cause fermentation?
I often combine beans with other foods. I don't really eat salt. |
