Hi! I need your help.

I've had acne for like 4 years now, I think I started getting it when I was 15, at first it wasn't that bad, it started getting worser when I turned around 17/18. On my late 18's, my face started getting a little better cause I've been doing alot of research, but I am now 19 and still get pimples, not as bad cause I try to keep my diet kind of clean most of the time, so sometimes my face is almost 100% clear but then I suddenly break out, and most of the time I have a few pimples at the same time, it's very rare when Im close to getting to 100% clear.

My acne is just on my face, I used to have it on my back but it went away.

Also, I've been working out for around a year and a half and haven't gained much muscle, I have always been a skinny guy, not weak and skinny, but skinny, I do have some muscle, but I don't think I have as much as I should have since I have been working out for more then a year. Oh and I have never had visible abs, I mean Im not saying I should have crazy looking abs, but atleast visible, I have to flex my stomach in order to see my abs, and they don't even look that defined even when flexing, I thought I could get away from doing ab work, and still get visible abs since im skinny, but no.Sad

I have never done a colon/liver/or any kind of cleanse in my life, I say this cause im pretty sure it has alot to do with all my problems?

I just want to do what is RIGHT for ME.

Thanks! Smile

Yep, a lot! If you've never cleansed and you have acne, then that is the first thing you should do - cleanse every system, plus restore your friendlies, and then start getting adequate Skin Food. If the acne still persists, then you need to check your hormones and perhaps do a parasite cleanse. Diet is essential, make sure you root out all of the bad info and stick to the foods that really do you good and raise the power of your digestion so you don't keep creating toxins.

Well, I did the flush yesterday at 11:00PM, Today at 3:00AM I woke up with an upset stomach, I thought I had to go number 2(lol) but I ended up vomitting, it felt so bad, I wasn't expecting this Sad lol, then I went back to sleep and woke up till now, im gonna go to the bathroom now and see what happens.=/

Yeah, im just gonna read from your website from now on, or atleast from people that know that acne has to do with what we eat.

Im gonna do the saltwater flush in a couple hours now, I'll see how that goes......

Thanks so much for the info Shelley!

Try the slow liver cleanse, or halve the dose of oil/juice next time so you don't vomit. All of the liver flush recipes on the 'net will overdose you, it's rediculous because you really don't need that much oil/juice to flush.

I did the salwater flush(damn the stuff is nasty), after doing the liver flush(like I said), and when I went to the bathroom there was atleast like 8 stones, I don't know if that's alot but damn im happy I got rid of those, maybe I still have some but atleast I got rid of some. Smile

I don't know about doing the oil/juice dose again, I did the 1/2 cup oil and 3/4 cups grapefruit, and drinked all of it yesterday when I did it, maybe that's why. So yeah, if I do it again, I'll drink alot less.

Yep, halve that dose, you don't need that much.

8 stones is a good flush! you may have more but wait at least 2 weeks before trying again. In the meantime, take some stone dissolvers or other types of liver dredgers. Now that those 8 stones are no longer blocking bile ducts or in the gallbladder, there may be freed up toxins that you can now get out.

Im taking lecithin granules as of right now, im gonna add more stone dissolvers soon. Im friggen scared of doing it again lol, the kind of stomach pain when you get the feeling you have to vomit has always been the worst feeling for me, I can stand headaches, and almost any kind of pain, but stomach pain sucks, but like you said, if I do it again is gonna be a smaller dose and hopefully this doesn't happen again. Smile

Thanks!

There is something else I want to fix, I want to know why I don't gain much muscle?

Could it be that I don't absorb the food I eat?
I eat ALOT and still stay pretty skinny(like I mentioned), I don't want to be fat, just want to be a little bigger. I feel like all the good work I do doesn't pay off, all this healthy eating and stuff, and I still don't look like I work out like I do.

Would taking digestive enzymes work?
I've been doing my research, but can you point me out on what exactly I should be reading?

Thanks so much for everything

Oh yes I meant to mention that:

Four things are crucial when putting on muscle mass: getting enough calories overall, getting enough grams of real protein, working out, and being alkaline enough to thrive and build rather than reduce. A body that is too acidic will not put on muscle mass. If you are certain-sure that are doing the first three right, then you have to concentrate on your overall pH balance. Add baking soda to the cleansing drink, take Cal-Mag Fizz, eat more alkaline sources of protein (Kichadi), avoid high-phosphurous food sources.

You also need to be getting adequate fats so the body doesn't turn on the starvation mode metabolism. If the problem persists, get a physical that includes a thyroid panel.

This is also assuming that your digestive power is strong but not too strong. If your transit times are too fast, stools too soft or too thin, then switch to a bland diet of heavier foods for three days or so and balance things out.

From the things you mentioned, I think my problem is my digestive power, something is just not right.
Ok so I did a liver flush on monday, tuesday I did a saltwater flush and went to the bathroom like 3 times, like 4 hours after I ate and I stopped going to the bathroom, on wednesday I didn't go to the bathroom the whole day, untill today, and the stools were pretty thin and short. Confused

BTW, when I say "I went to the bathroom" I mean I did #2, not sure what are the proper words for saying this. Embarassed

Oh, and since yesterday at around 6/7pm, I started having a little gas(the gas had only stopped on the days of doing the liver & saltwater flush, before this I had this gas problem already), and felt like there were little bombs in my stomach, not sure if this is stomach bloating or something like that?

My face is still improving, so im happy about that.Smile

Oh we say bowel movement or elimination to refer to that. Smile

It's normal to have messed up digestion for several days after a flush. When you recover fully, that's when you want to start analyzing your power of digestion. Do the stomach acid self test, start analyzing your stools, try taking digestive enzymes, keep an eye on your transit times (how long it takes for you to eliminate what you've eaten).

Since your breakouts are sporadic it would be a good idea to keep a food journal. Write down everything you ate and when you ate it, whether the portions were regulation size (a meal should be small enough to fit in your cupped hands). You may find that you're sensitive to a partcular type or family of food, or food additives, or sugar... etc. It would also be good to record the digestive/elimination results (gas, bloating, constipation, diarrhea...).

Oh ok, I need to get educated.Smile

Ok, so if I still feel the same after a week, I start doing the acid self test, take digestive enzymes, etc.

I ain't breaking out that much anymore, my face keeps getting clearer and clearer, what im worried about now is the gaining muscle thing.Smile
I eat pretty much the same stuff everyday(only change what I eat every once in a while), and I think what causes the gas is rice bread with almond butter and sugar free jam, I don't know which of the three causes this, or maybe because I eat them together I don't know. But It seems that when I eat it, like half or an hour after I start getting gas, with smell, and as far as I know this means I don't digest proteins properly? Which makes sense, I mean maybe that's why I don't gain much muscle?

I eat pretty clean now, instead of using sugar I use stevia extract, brown rice syrup, etc. I also have a gluten free diet.....

nut butters are one of the toughest things to digest. You should take digestive enzymes with them, and some kind of stomach acidifier like lemonade/ACV if you don't want to suffer gas.
