This thread is for you to submit your recipes to be considered for the Candida resources book. We'd also appreciate any tips or tricks such as time savers, favorite sugar substitutes, semi-cheats, etc.

While some recipes can be bland for Pitta people, most of the recipes should make use of Pugent Therapy somehow.

To submit a recipe means you're giving up all copyrights.

Thanks so much for your contribution! Smile

I hope others will add any comments to this / or their own recipes so that we have a nice collection. If you're worried that your meals will be seen as non candida friendly, don't worry, if you get you're meals out into the open then at least you'll get help to sort out any adjustments that may be needed. Therefore helping everyone =)

*Spiced tuna with quinoa:

Tuna steak cooked in pan spiced with salt, chilli / chilli powder, maybe some oregano too.

Quinoa cooked with added cumin seeds, with a side of steamed green beans and sweetcorn.

* (Healthy Burger)Turkey Burger with sweet potato wedges/discS:

Sourdough Bread with grilled turkey. Add to it some mustard and sauerkraut. Chopped sweet potato into dics or wedge shape lightly cooked in pan with coconut oil, salt, pepper flakes, etc.

* Spiced Rice and bean bonanza?!

Rice cooked with garlic, ginger, onions, with spices , alongside aduki beans, mung beans and/ or black beans for some extra protein (for those who want some extra protein)

Beans should be soaked overnight in salted water. Boil water and add beans until they soften.

* Kinda snack like........... Carrot sticks or chicken strips! or whatever dipped into tabasco sauce with accompanying avocado dip ( blend chopped avocado up and place into blender along with a tablespoon or two of olive oil).
