Trouble with sinus blockage

this is Starlight, how are you? OK, I saw the dr. on this subject, you remember all that, and he wanted me to do a CT scan WITH dye, which I'm not doing, because of my heart arythmia, and that "thing" (rem. I described that all to you, it's like an ischemic attack, and you thought it was the vagus nerve?) that happens to my head every few years in FEB. ONLY, well, he didn't even want to listn to what I had to say, it was awful...all he kept asking me was if I was allergic to iodine! I've had better conversations with my cat! This was ridiculous, and even though he had already told me "NO, I don't think you have a brain tumor", and even though I had FULL eye exam from the opthamologist who ALSO SAID THE SAME THING....this other "dr." wanted to do a CT scan with dye, so I wanted to know why, and that's when we engaged in this time wasting ridiculous conversation, which, at the end, he called it off, telling me that "well, Laura, It MIGHT be brain cancer"!..LOL...geez....this is to much! I've researched this COMPLETLEY, talked to a friend of mine who is a nurse, talked to everyone I know.....and all opinions are the same, this ISN'T BRAIN CANCER....and he had some nerve saying that to me on the phone, wiht NO PROOF other than a tiny brief little exam in his office....not even a nerological exam at that!

So, I'm back to what I believe this is.....sinusitis. Now, I tried that netti pot, as i said, but that was way to much, I tried it again, and I can't get it right, ..... what I want to ask you is....are there any herbs that help to loosen up the trapped mucus up there. Right now, for the past few weeks, it's been this pressure on the top of my head, on the left, and over by the nose and under the eye on the left also.....a little bit of that temple pressure is also kicking in again, and I was without that for about two weeks! I looked into FUNGAL sinusitis, but I can't tell if I'm dealing with that, or an infection, or just plain swollen membranes....now, the "dr." had looked in my eyes, and my ears, and very quickly determined it wasn't a sinus infeciton...I think he's wrong. I spoke to him about "dry" sinusitis, and he laughed it off....stupid! He also laughed off any involvement with hormones...naturally. You yourslef said to me in the last post that hormones can definatley cause the sinus membranes to swell.....so, I'm trying to handle this naturally, and not go down that road of all these insane med. tests! Do you know of a website that talks about the hormonal change and sinus inflamation...if you do, would you plese give it to me. I think it's amazing what hormones can do.... also, what do you know about the FUNGAL sinusitis, how would I get rid of that, if that's what it is....I mean, I want to do that NATURALLY!

If you can find a zinc-based cleanser, that woudl be the best for hormones and good for fungal infections too. I think Sinu-cleanse has one. Or you can just use a nasal spray rather than a whole entire flush, that's much easier to deal with to start.

when you say a zinc-based CLEANSER, do you mean an irrigation idea again? I tried hte neti pot, and that wasn't to good....I couldn't get it right, and felt weird in my left ear, and it made me slightly neauseas ... now, SINU CLEANSE, is that a nasal spray? where can I get that?? I've also heard of something called SINUS EASE, have you heard of that, and what do you think? I think the thing is, I need to be able to drain ... it feels as though my head ON THE LEFT SIDE ONLY is stuffy, or "thick", and stings, it feels so weird. I don't think it's draining, I used to have a post nasal drip, but now I don't....so now, I have all this pressure on the top and side of my head (left side) and pressure on the roof of my mouth and gums on teh top (left side only). I read here on another post, that you told someone who also had sinus ONLY ON ONE SIDE to take epsom salt? I just bought some, maybe I should do this too??? I'm going to gargle with some salt water, hope that'll unclog things. I can feel that full feeling on the left side of my nose....puffy, like something is in there.

hi again .... listen, I was wondering if any of these symptoms could be my thyroid...when I saw the dr. on Feb. 5th, he felt my thyroid gland, and said it was slightly enlarged. So, I did my homework, and found out that that could be either hypo or hyper thyroid, I think I fit into the hypo, I think mine may be underactive. But, the point here, is that I was wondering if that could affect the sinus membranes as well, I bet it could. It has to do with hormones! I have my files here, let me just post my thyroid numbers here for you and tell me if you think they are low or to high or what:
