hi. can a nusing mom of a six-month-old safely do a liver cleanse? flush? anything? there is some congestion.

Oh yes there are many safe ways to cleanse the liver. It would be best to do the slow cleanse rather than a major flush. Please read the Liver Management section in the FAQ, it's all there. If nothing else, you can do the cleansing carrot salad for 8 days.
