My distiller broke (I was energy recharging the water and adding back minerals) - I've decided not to get another one.

I need a new purification system, but I don't have a massive budget, so can't afford RO or ionizers. I have been buying bottled spring water, and again soaking it with prill beads to energise/thin the water. The cost is adding up though ...

What do you think of the Aquasana (supposed to be the #1 system in the USA?), and also the Wellness filters (I could only afford the carafe system)? I would like a system that filters out the baddies including heavy metals, pesticides, hormones, chemicals - as much as possible.
