I am doing thorough bowel management at the moment, getting myself as cleared out as possible, then I'm planning on doing a Liver Flush for the first time ever.
I want to flush because I have acne and severe CFS/fibro, and a history of heavy antibiotic usage as a child/teenager/young adult. I'll be doing the full preparation with stone softeners and everything ...
However I've been reading up lots and lots, mostly here at Ask Shelley, and it seems like the flushes can make people feel really bad long term, and not cause reduction in symptoms. Also some of you are saying your acne is not affected, or even gets worse (cjb?) ... or even the flushes seeming to set off pain and problems (Monique?).
I'm feeling so good and positive on my bowel cleanse, and getting MP out while feeling better than i have in a long while. I don't want to ruin that by a Liver Flush making me ill long term!
I would love to hear success stories for liver flushing, and also about less successful ones now some time has passed ... please convince me! |

Hi, I've recently started flushing and liver cleansing and I too would love to hear some success and give me some hope that it will end sometime.
I read that a congested liver comes through as forehead acne, but I've never had forehead acne so what does that mean, and that other areas of acne correspond to different areas, but I've tried the other stuff; vitamins, bowel cleansing, juice fasting etc and nothing made the slightest difference.
Since starting liver cleansing, my eczema has come back for the first time in years, and when i did my last flush i wasnt breaking out for a couple of days and my ezcema didnt seem as inflamed, maybe coincidence but I think i've read other people having the same experiences. After a few days the acne and ezcema both came back nasty.
So I guess it's good that I'm seeing something happening, but I want to know that it will end and I can feel normal for the first time ever.
Damn this western lifestyle, wish I'd been born some place natural and healthy. |

I had frequent bouts of "acid indigestion" and radical forehead acne, irritability, burpies, fibromyalgia, chemical sensitivities, etc. All were cured after just 2 liver flushes and a couple bottles of good liver herbs. They are amazing!!!
There's just a lot of people who do too many flushes because they've heard from psychos like Andreas Moritz who says you have to flush "hundreds" of times to get "thousands" of stones out (yea, right). So they see fewer results and get discouraged, when in fact they need more diet management, or stomach acids/digestive enzymes, not liver management. |

I was thinking about the "flush until you have 3 flushes that result in no stones", should this be goal if a person has a long list of symtoms? How many flushes are too many flushes actually? I've heard about people who did as many as 50! I think Hulda Clark says that a person has about 2000 stones that must be flushed out until the liver is clear, is anyone counting?
My friend and I have discussed flushes for a while and we can't figure this out completely.
Thank you and have a great day! |

Thanks Shelley, that's good to hear.
The more research I do, here and on curezone, the more I think it is a good idea. I'm also hoping it will be a key factor in resolving hormonal issues.
As far as I can tell, the most important things for a successful flush are
1 - to soften and break the stones up as much as possible beforehand
2 - to have a clear passage through the colon for the dreck to get out ASAP, helped along with a colonic before and after.
Monique - would you mind posting a little about your experience with liver flushes here? Now that some time has gone by, do you think the liver flushes have benefitted your health or have they actually made it worse? |

I do like the practice of flushing at least twice more despite no visible stones. It's best to make sure. And it's a good idea to check six months later to make sure that your diet is preventing the formation of more stones. That's what trips me out about some people - they produce lots of stones and keep producing them. Don't they know they need to eat more EFAs and lecithin/choline??? I mean, why bother to flush if you're not going to take steps to stop forming new stones??? I think they just didn't know they could stop making new stones, or assumed the stones were old. |

Hi!
Liver flushes have done me lot's of good. They have released so many stored emotions thats it's crazy! My mood is much much better, digestion is better, I absorb things better.
They have not made me worse, I have done 8 LFs with 2 week intervals, and I need to take a break now to repopulate my colon and remineralize my body from all the cleansing. I will be flushing again in maybe 6 months. I am not eating bad foods and I keep eating lecitin everyday and good fats to not form stones again (per Shelleys advice).
Good luck to you |

Thanks Monique and Shelley, I appreciate your help and sharing your experiences.
I'm convinced! I'm looking forward to flushing and seeing what happens, and I'll post up my experiences post-flush [/img] |
