i know the idea of birth control is not good, but it seems I really break out badly when I am menstruating. The weird thing is I was on a very strict diet for quite some time, however lately I have become lax and my menstrual cramps have returned, I had them occasionally before I cleansed but not during. Its only for one day and then it is gone, however it is excruciating for that one day. Anyway my break out is not on my chin or jaw when it happens. I am trying to become stricter w/ my diet again, I was wondering if I took probiotics while on birth control if it would help keep the candida at bay, as at my check up, birth control was all my doctor could suggest to help. I have done four liver flushes and then took a small break, i also try to keep my bowels clear through fiber and enemas when needed. The other thing is that when I was on my strict diet i still had regular break outs on my left cheek, but when my diet was lax, my left cheek cleared and now my right cheek is breaking out. Are breakouts related to a certain side of the body?

Ah, good that you noticed that! One-sided symptoms are a great way to figure out what exactly is going on, as most minerals are left or right-side dominant. So if your breakouts are one-sided, then you know that they are happening because of incorrect mineral ratios and deficiencies.

Since you have both acne and bad cramps, I'd say your problem is magnesium in proportion to calcium and phosphorus. Have you been supplementing calcium at all? Or cheating too much with high-phosphorus foods? (cola, coffee, black teas, cornbread, condensed milk...)

Thyroid-based acne tends to happen on the right side of the face too, so look for too-low or too-high iodine. Iodine is very very essential, and you can only overdose if you eat iodized table salt in conjunction with lots of seafoods.

So analyze your diet and consider eating some iodine-rich superfoods if you're lacking, making sure your TSH levels are where they need to be, and taking Cal-mag fizz and adding Epsom salts to your bathwater.

Do extensive liver cleansing and adrenal support before you go the birth control route. If you do go that route, all you have to do is eat Kefir regularly or take live acidophilus supplements, and occasionally use them as a vaginal suppository, which are things we should be doing anyway.

Best of luck! Smile

Thank you so much for your help, its quite comforting to know someone actually knows what is really going on in our bodies Very Happy . I do supplement Ca but it also has Mg in it and i do it every other day,...I assume the CalMg fizz would be better? Is that for every day? Does drinking rice milk enriched w/ calcium help? If it is a proportion problem should i find some Ca w/o Mg?
As for iodine, I only eat sea salt, but I also eat whole pumpkin seeds which have salt on the outside so that could be my overdose on iodine. Its funny you mention the thyroid though b/c every once in awhile i do get a small pain in that area, but I thought i read somewhere there is really nothing that can be done about it.
I also have not had any type of meat for about a week and a half and do see slight improvement, I know most commercial meat contains hormones but does it contain iodine also? I don't eat food w/ a lot of phosphorus, but since its been the holidays, i have eaten more chocolate than i should have which could have an effect. Thanks again.

That sounds like an okay version of calcium. Calcium should always be taken with magnesium.

meat doesn't contain iodine. Definitely try to get a good source of iodine into your diet, or supplement.

There are things you can do for your thyroid, and for better circulation.
