Hi Shelley

It may be worth you doing some amazon.co.uk links too, since you have many UK posters here.

Not sure how to do links and stuff like that! Apart from my latest new skill in using emoticons, I'm a computer ninny!

By the way, Oxy Powder also offers an affiliate program. That's a popular product! http://www.oxypowder.com/affiliates/

No need - amazon uk is a bookshop. It doesn't sell any supps.

No, just books, CDs, dvds, some toys, household stuff and 'personal items' (electronic toothbrushes etc). I sell books through Amazon, and had a good look round it today. There is the set-up in place to sell health supplements, but its not yet been activated. So, maybe sometime soon?

Shelley, do you get a percentage if we buy products in addition to the ones you list as links? I thought I'd get some CalMagFizz using the link which takes me to Musclesurf on Amazon, but might see if there's anything else I need if it'll help out.

PostPosted: Thu May 05, 2005 4:50 pm    Post subject: Ordering from UK? Reply with quote

I wondered if anyone had successfully ordered from Amazon.com from the UK? There's loads of good products I'd like to get my hands on. Some time ago I tried to order the Iron Asporotate (and other things). I remember Shelley mentioning this several times, and cannot get it over here. When I came to checkout, it said order not accepted. Very disappointing in this day and age! I do not need it at the moment, as having to have iron injections, which I'd hoped I could avoid, but would like to be able to get some for when I finish on them, to avoid sinking into cabbage state again!

If anyone has any info on where I can get some from - could you let me know please Question

if you can't find it or get it from US Amazon (I order from UK Amazon all the time, I wonder why the reverse wouldn't work also??) let me know and I'll ship a bottle to you. Smile

That's really good of you to offer. I have a sort-of guess that it might be because I was trying to use a Maestro card. When I next try, I'll use my husbands' Visa card instead Wink

I shop at Amazon Uk often, and know they send to US. I'll let you know how I get on. I wont be ordering any for a few weeks though, I am having a course of 10 injections, 1 a week. Apparently, I'm not as anaemic this time, only slightly, but my blood cells look 'agitated' (whatever that means). Great of you to offer Shelley.

Agitated RBC's? Oh my! I can just see them moshing around your veins LOL!

Digestive enzymes help with sticky RBCs but I don't know if it helps with agitated ones. Wink

Hi Shelley & folks

Yes I tried to order some cal-mag fizz and emergen C from Amazon.com and went all through the checking out system only to get a message up "shipping cannot be made to this address". I used my visa. Sad

I don't know whether you could look into this for us UKers Shelley. I'm sure we would all use them. Laughing

Take care

Suzie

ps - Brother's funeral went well yesterday and I'm now healing nicely. Razz

I can look into it. It would be a good group buy product, don't know if I can get a discount on large orders but it's worth investigating! Smile

So glad the funeral went well. Smile

I guess for now, just find a Calcium/magnesium supplemnet that hopefully has a variety of forms of calcium: Calcium lactate, Calcium Carbonate, Calcium Citrate. That way it won't neutralize stomach acids. But if you can only find calcium lactate or calcium carbonate, it's better than nothing! The best ratio of Cal to Mag is 2 to 1, so 500 mg of Cal to 250 mg of Mag or thereabouts. If it has D that's even better.

Tenacity, that's exactly what happened to me! It's such a shame, as they have some great products. At Amazon UK, they have Marketplace sellers, and it is up to them whether they ship outside of UK or not. I guess it is the same here, the sellers (Vitamine Shop?) have decided not to ship to UK.

Thanks for the laugh Shelley Laughing Perhaps a glass of wine would calm down my 'agitated RDC's'? Or, maybe that's the last thing they need! I'll get to work on that FBM instead/as well as.
