My thyroid keeps on changing. While it's still low, sometimes T4 is low, now TSH is low. I'm taking both T3 and T4 right now. What is causing all this?
I did lose a few pounds in the passed month. Does dieting cause this?
Also, my only symptom is constipation. Should I avoid meat? I noticed that after Thanksgiving it got worse. I didn't eat any junk, but I did eat turkey for almost all meals for 3 days. |

The body cycles so numbers change. Just as long as the TSH is between about 1 and 3 you're fine, no need to adjust meds.
When we eat more meat we tend to eat less fiber so yes t hat can cause constipation. All you have to do is add some fiber somehow, or drink fennel tea. That's why your diet should cycle from day to day - some days vegetarian, some high protein, etc. |
