Dear Shelley and all others taking atomidine!
I am thinking of adding this to my protocol to improve my thyroid function. I currently dont have any recognisable issues, but figure a bottle or two wont cause much harm if taken correctly!
I have read some previous posts about people (Shelley included) preparing to order and supplement some and am wondering how people have got on and if people would recommend it as a supplement.
It seems to be involved in much more than just the thyroid and I cant imagine that im getting enough iodine in my diet currently. And Ive been eating a lot of tasty sweet potatoes which are a goitrogen, so want to ensure my thyroid and body have enough iodine!
Do you have any suggestions as to long term supplementation with atomidine? To use it, say, as a permanent source of iodine? I will be making sole soon, but realise that most salts lose iodine due to the drying and dont like the idea of all the potential mercury in seafoods.
Thanks to all, as ever |

| I don't know of anyone taking it and I haven't' tried it, but I like what I've read about it. I would definitely give it a try if I knew I was low on iodine, but only for a couple weeks max. |

Thanks for your reply.
Apparently there are 200mcg of iodine per drop.
Do you think after a week of supplementing, if I drop it back to 3 - 4 drops a week is a good idea? To keep my iodine levels, level ?
I dont really eat seafood often enough so dont think Im getting enough iodine at all, so hopefully when I start this it will sort various issues out.
It'd be nice to have some improvment! |
