I feel i'm getting there slowly
Ok so i am a month into candida diet and have started taking a anti fungal called berbecap, contains oregon grape to kill the candida, this was tested on me by my kinesiologist . I have decided to eat a balanced diet now excluding potatoes and gluten/wheat for now and stop worrying about what i eat thanks to shelleys info As i was worryig about everything i ate would break me out and was basically starving myself!
I was thinking though my breakouts are definateley hormonal, they are on jaw line and around mouth, my period has been missing for 2 months now, but this could be due to me being under weight. I also have endometriosis. I had the same problem early on this year, i managed to clear up the big pussy spots to little pimples which i was happy about, this could of been down to a number of things, a kinesiologist who gave me foods to cut out, and i went to an accupuncturist who seemed to balance my hormones and my periods started to be more regular. however since liver flushing i've done 4 my acne/candida has come back. So i wonder if killing the candida will actually clear my acne, or whould you recommend doing some more liver flushes ? The problem is i wan to try the cleansing drinks and slow liver cleanses from the faq but because of foods i have been told to avoid i can not do Such as citrus foods, onions, nuts . I am doing regular enemas to help with the die off. What would you recommend i add shelley to my list below that you think would be beneficial to clearing my acne? sorry so many questions !!
List of things i do at the moment:
. candida diet - oregon grape
. dry skin brushing
. sun salutations every morning
. sleep by 11pm
. oil pulling
. coconut oil, 2 tables spoons a day and cook with
. juicing, 2 a day, breakfast & evening.
. avoiding dairy and gluten
. wash face with manuka/ lemon myrtle oil soap
. moisturise every other day with manuka honey moisturiser,
. honey face mask, 2 x a week
. reiki , once a week
. accupuncture, every other week, he is working on removing heat
. colonics every 2 weeks
Thanks Shelley, |

| see a doctor ASAP. You're probably hugely iron deficient or B12 deficient and that has to be addressed or you'll never get better. Missing a period is not hormones, it's because the body is too totally depleted to spare the blood. Your body is trying to save you despite all your efforts to kill yourself. |

Hi Shelley,
Can you advise the best thing to do in the meantime to boost my b12 and iron , is it to eat liver ??
I've seen the liver recipe, but i can not have citrus, what else could i cleanse the liver with ?

the citrus is thoroughly rinsed out before you eat it, you should be fine. You can also use milk but it's not as cleansing.
Best to go ahead and supplement. It's hard for women to eat enough calories to get enough B12 and Iron. The only people who easily get enough iron from diet alone are people who can afford to eat 3000 calories or more a day. |

Also supplementing with iron would i need to supplement with anything else ?
Is it maganese?
I'm already taking zinc, vit e, codliver oil, mag/cal 2:1 3 a day, vit b complex, chromium, extra calcium 600mg, as well as my anti fungals and artichoke !
Seems like a lot , i will start rattling soon ! |

| Don't take Iron every day - take it on the days you don't take Calcium or any other mineral. Just take the RDA unless you've verified with blood tests that you're very low. |

| i had a scan which showed that i have small cysts over my ovaries, these types are normally seen in girls who have just started there periods and their ovaries are just starting to work, or in women that have lost too much weight, which i believe to be my case because i have lost a lot of weight on the candida diet, so its a vicous circle for me ! I have tried to eatmore but then i am also sticking to not eating too much at each meal to help power of digestion! |

| ah, okay, do you know if one is larger than the other? If the ovaries are due to mineral imbalances then they'll be mis-matched, as minerals are eitiher left or right-side dominant. Most women only get cysts on one ovary in fact. |

| My left one was 18mm across, right one was 19 mm so not much difference, my hormone levels were checked and my estrogen levels are fine same for testosterone, and my iron levels were fine too. My blood test results don't show that the little cysts on my ovaries or my endometriosis are causing any hormone imbalances or any harm, so my doctor said they don't need to do any more tests or do anything else. I have no idea then why my periods have not been for 3 months. The only thing i can think of is to keep doing liver cleansing and see if that helps ? |

| Yep, but be sure to take some time to get some good nutrition and adequate calories. If iron tested out okay, then look at B12 - have you been getting good sources of B12? supplementing? Then consider doing a parasite cleanse. |
