Hello Shelley,

What foods or componds can be taken for liver dredging istead of the herbs that you list in the Faq section. And is Milk thistle a liver dredger.

Thank you and God Bless

Apples, oranges, carrots, celery, beets.

I think garlic is also good.

If you have a juicer, juice the above on regular basis, with the exception of the ginger.

I had to find my "Liver Cleansing Diet" book. There is also...
bell peppers
onions
cabbage
brussel sprouts
cauliflower
any dark green vegetable

Spices
tumeric
cilantro
green tea
horseradish/wasabi
sesame
watercress
dill
caraway
fennel

Extra Virgin Olive Oil and other cold pressed oils

Thank you very much spo1977.

Ok, one more question. If I follow Shelley's liver cleansing regimen and eat these foods instead of taking the herbs, I will be ok doing that (of course eating other foods she recommends).

For stone dissolvers are lecithin and apple juice enough. I am going to assume you have done a liver cleanse (I am not going to do any flushes) since you said you had to look at your liver cleansing book, so I was woundering what was your whole regime from day one in the morning to last day (how long). I will probably go for aleast 3 wks.

I do not know.

I just started drinking juice and including healthy foods on a daily basis. I have taken Livatone Plus and I am taking Buplerum right now. I intend to contine with LiverCare afterwards.

Google it. Smile There are lists online that are easy enough to find.

I am still deciding to do a slow liver cleanse. My question is--the above quote spo1977 listed foods to dredge the liver with instead of using the ones Shelley mentions to use, aren't those for stone dissolving and bile cleansing or is that what dredging is. If not are there other opinions for the liver dredgers. I googled it and came up with nothing. All I want is to use what I have instead of buying more stuff. I rather use food or vitamins I already have. I read the livertone plus and it pretty much looked like a multi with milk thistle.

foods help cleanse the liver, but if you're symptomatic, then most foods are not therapeutic enough. You have to do herbs too. See list of options in FAQ. IT's best to use 2 stone dissolvers and one dredger plus all the foods and super-foods, juices, that you can.

Actually I have one question to what you replied. What do you mean by symptomatic.

It means you are showing specific symptoms of an impaired liver.

Thank you for the reply.

I don't think I have an impaired liver but what would be the symptoms.
