Water alkalizer: Xooma X2O

Changing to a mostly alkaline diet has worked miracles for me in making severe back and shoulder inflammation just melt away. One thing I had overlooked however was the water I was drinking which (like most water) turns out to be acidic (I tested it with a Johnsons Universal Indicator litmus paper tab.)

I know there are a number of fairly expensive gadgets out there that will alkalize water to a degree (depending on how acid it is in the first place) but I've been looking for something simpler and cheaper. One option is adding half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to drinking water, but I'm not keen on consuming vast amounts of bicarb

A couple of days ago I came across the Xooma X2O product which seems like it may be the answer http://www.xoomaworldwide.com/greengold and I have signed up for a regular shipment of the product (you can cancel at any time), but I wondered if anyone else had had experience with this product?? If so, what did you think of it?
