I am certain I am having some adrenal issues and I am trying to work with this. But for many years I have experienced a lot of pain on the balls of my feet. It finally became so bad I had foot surgery for neuromas four years ago. My doctor told me he had never removed such large ones!
I know the neuromas are growing back. I have never been pain free enough to walk for exercise since my surgery. This and other coinciding events have caused me to gain 70 pounds about that time and I still have that weight.
Anyway......I was speaking with a reflexologist the other day and she told me the balls of the feet represent the adrenals. We were interrupted so I never was able to ask her which comes first......did the neuromas possibly cause my adrenals to get wonky or did the wonky adrenals cause the neuromas?
If the neuromas cause my adrenal problems, then I will never get really well, because I will not have the surgery again. If the adrenals caused my neuromas, then there is even more reason to work on getting my adrenals well again.
You input will be appreciated.

The balls of the feet are not adrenals. She needs to look at a chart.

Feet problems can either be a root symptom, or a reflection of the rest of the body. Neuromas are usually both - bad shoes, bad posture leading to bones rubbing each other wrong, and general inflammation, toxic acids and deficiencies making nerves vulnerable.
I recommend foot baths every night. Get one of those nice foot baths that actually move the water about, and put in Epsom salts. Consult wtih a chiropractor or Rolfer or someone into Feldenkrais to analyse your posture and walking to see if you're putting undue pressure on your feet. |

Wow, thank you for the chart. She was way off.
At least I know my adrenal issues are not foot related; that is actually a relief! I will follow your suggestions for the foot problems.
