Hi Shelley,
This is starlight.....from Curezone...WOW, this is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't even know you had opened your own site, absolutley marvelous!
O.K., listen, this is the situation - my youngest son, who is 19, is sufferng from depression. He feels very bad about himself, without any really good reason, he can't fall asleep or relax because his mind just won't shut off, he's constantly plagued with bad thoughts, he's mentioned to me that he wants to kill himself BECAUSE he can't shut these bad thoughts out of his head, and because he feels so badly about himself....now, I am very concerned about this = if a teenager starts talking about killing himself, you better listen. We are a very loving family, and I make sure I talk with him everyday abuot the way he feels, and he knows he can come to me at ANYTIME, day or night, and talk out his feelings......and he does. But, no matter what we do, we can't seem to get him past this. No, he wasn't always like this. This all started about 2 yrs. ago, but it has gotten worse. I tend to believe this is biochemically induced, there must be something off on the inside of his body to bring this about.......but WHAT? Friends of mine suggested Nystatin, but I'd rather not do that, and besides which, he doesn't want to see a doctor at all! Is there anythng at all you can suggest that would help this? I remember for my other son, who was suffering from all that fear (do you remember?) you suggested Acid Defense, and that saved his life!!!!!! (btw...he says "hi")..........so, I'm wodering if that would help my youngest son as well...? I was also thinking the Bach Flower Remedies, but which ones.....I'd have to buy the ones that are already pre-mixed, he's tried the Rescue Remedy, but that doesn't really help much.
So.........if you can think of anything, anything at all.....I'd be grateful!!!!
He's actually willing to flush out his liver and intestines,,,,that's how bad this is for him!...LOL....he NEVER wanted to do that before!
Well....Shelley,,,,,,thank you for all your help, and for reading this long story! - and hey, congrats my friend......this site is awsome!
Sincerely, Starlight |

Hi Starlight! I'm so glad you found the new place. I tried to let everyone know but the old forum was shut down so ... not much I could do! Hopefully the word will continue to spread, there're still some people missing.
but oh dear, your poor son!
Okay, does he have ANY other symptoms? ANy at all. How does his tongue look?
See, this could be due to many many factors, so a thorough diagnostic really should be done. He should get a physical that checks thyroid function because that tends to run in your family. He doesn't have to follow anything the doctor says or even tell him anything, it's just a good idea to know whether we're dealing with any metablic issues, and a regular physical checkup should be sufficient.
An Irridology exam would be good.
How has his diet been up until now? does he fit the profile of someone with candida? lack of vitamin B12? Calcium? Tryptophan?
Is it possible that he came into contact with something toxic, like pesticides, arsenic, mercury? (old buildings, new/old dental fillings, treated wood, vaccines, friends with apartments that get fumigated...)
Flower Essences would be awesome, my favorite is the Perelandra set of essences. You can start out with the Garden set if you don't want to dive into the whole entire set. www.perelandra-ltd.com.
For the immediate future, Acid Defense would be good because he very well could be too acidic. I forget if it has calcium - if it doesn't, he should also take CalMagFizz.
He should have a good source of calcium for dinner every night. Broccoli soup, kefir, kefir/yogurt fruit smoothies, hot whole grain cereal with milk and cinnamon...
His main protein sources should be eggs and Turkey. Tryptophan will help him shut his brain down. Try scrambling ground turkey with veggies the same way you would eggs, and of course turkey wraps from Subway are a great way to get turkey into the diet.
He is probably very deficient in Essential Fatty Acids too, so start him on Extra Virgin Coconut oil, cod liver oil, olive oil, avocados.
He should follow the guidelines for pacifying Vata - long baths with Epsom salts, followed by a foot massage (he can massage himself). Get some pure sesame oil (not toasted) or use the coconut, add some calming essential oils like lavendar, Bergamot, geranium, frankincense, rose.
It would be great if he (or you) could massage his head with coconut oil.
He should also do sinus oil massage. This is an ancient way of calming and soothing the mind. After blowing your nose, you lie back comfortably, take your smallest finger, cut the nail down as far as you can, dip it in sesame oil and rub it in tiny circles against the cartilidge dividing the sinuses, as far in as you can. It's quite relaxing.
While doing this he should play soothing music, like music for massage and Reiki and Yoga. Classical guitar. New Age.
Right before bed, he should drink this drink:
Simmer a cup of milk on low heat for ten minutes with the following:
1 cinnamon stick
2 whole cardamom pods
2 whole cloves
1/2 inch of fresh ginger root
Strain into a mug with a liberal dose of raw honey.
he should practice the creative visualization for insomnia. I put it in the Vital Vibes forum.
So try that and let me know how it goes! |

I think they're better than bach, yeppers.
They are not pre-mixed, you have to deduce which ones are needed, but that's a more effective way to treat miasms, which I suspect this is.
If you want a pre-mix, Perelandra has their own kind of rescue remedy that is getting great reviews from all my Perelandra friends. It's called ETS - emergency trauma solution.
They also have pre-mixed solutions called Microbial Balancing Solutions, and you can get the one for the nervous system and perhaps a few others, that would help too. |

know a thing about mixing them........is it hard, does it come with
directions.....? Thank you again.......you are a dear!!!

It's www.perelandra-ltd.com.
You use kinesiology to figure out which essences to use. Usually people only need one or two. They get just a drop of whatever essence they test positive for. And you also test to see how many doses, usually jsut the one is all that is needed, unless it is a miasm.
They give instructions on kinesiology online and in a little free publication that comes with the essences. The publication comes with step-by-step instructions for how to adminster essences for yourself. To do it for someone else - surrogate testing - may not be in that free book, so let me know if you need help with that.
A miasm is a illness that is hard to throw off because it has really taken hold in our electrical system - nervous system, brain, emotional body, and then physical body. Some physical imblaances are purely physical, such as coming into contact with a toxin. But some involve all three bodies - our spiritual, mental/emotional, and physical. Until all three are healed it will hang on. |
