Since I found out my fiber had FOS in it, and since you said psyllium is not so good for candida people, I have switched to flax seed . I have a few questions about that. I am using ground seeds in a shake. Can I do that 3-4 times per day? Will it be able to help me continue getting mucoid plaque out? Does the tea count as a shake if I don't strain it? The first day I used it I did 2 shakes and 2 teas and woke up early the next morn with borderline diarhea. Maybe the 2 teas was too much?

Also, since I'm starting to get mucoid plaque out, should I still stop fiber and do the aloe vera juice? I hate to lose momentum!

About flax seeds. I have seen them at the store, are you supposed
to grind or soak them before eating or can you eat them as is?
If you are supposed to grind them yourself, how do you do that?
Thanks.

Okay, if I miss any questions, please feel free to let me know! Smile

You can do the ground seeds 3x a day. Try just using the ground seeds and see how you do. If it ever feels too abrasive do one tea and 2 shakes. Just do whatever formula gives you soft but formed stools rather than total diarrhea. You can even take the seeds whole sometimes, or mix in whole ones.

Flax seeds are best ground in a coffee grinder. So when we give up our coffee we still have a use for the grinder. Wink It's great for flax seeds and whole spices.

You should not grind them until you are ready to eat them. Eat them immediately.

Flax seeds are very versatile. You can make a tea from them. You don't have to, but it is very helpful to moistening the bowels, a good idea when you have jagged cracks on your tongue.

Agnes, go for a few more days of fiber and then do the Aloe Vera juice. You can still do some fiber if you take care to do it apart from the Aloe.

Since I switched to flax seed meal from psyllium, I haven't gotten any more mp out. Will ground flax seed get mp out? Would whole seeds do better? I'm wondering if I should switch back, because I was doing so well with the psyllium. However, the psyllium I was using had fos in it; do you recommend one ? I think maybe you mentioned Sonne had one that was just fiber? Thanks!

you may have simply gotten it all out, nothing left to GET out. Flax seeds will take out MP, just about any fiber will if done consistently and with mild laxatives.

Hi, I have been going in circles looking for the recipes on these.
Where can I find these recipes on this site?
Thanks.

the P&B shake is something CureZone promotes. I don't promote them because psyllium is not great for everyone, and bentonite can be absorbed and cause aluminum overdose. Bentonite is safer as an additive to enemas.

There is a safe fiber shake recipe in the FAQ:

I haven't written much up on teas yet, but they're a major part of managing health. There's a Flax seed tea post in the Kitchen forum. Smile
