Hi Shelley,

I went for my first colonic today and would really like your opinion on a few things.
First off the liquid coming out of me was a light color. He said that a healthy colon will excrete a dark liquid. The cause of the light colored liquid has to do with the pancreas and the liver and insulin?
I also had an extreme amount of gas. He said it was the most he had ever seen. There was also a large amount of mucous also.

I am going for another round next week. But would like to know what you thought and what you think the next step for me might be.(tests, herbs, cleansing, etc.)

Thanks so much

Aon

That's weird. I never saw a dark color myself, and I went for a TON of colonics. Once all the fecal matter was gone, there was always yellow toxins, providing I wasn't fasting, and sometimes even if I was.

Definitely start adding a bit of kefir to your diet.

That is strange. I am also a colon hydrotherapist and generally when we see very dark liquid (presumably dark bile), we suspect that the liver is congested. We will also see very dark bile when one is doing some kind of a liver cleanse.

I tend to think of yellow and light brown liquids as a good sign.

Thanks for the reply's. Maybe this guy just does'nt know what he is talking about.

Today I feel very dizzy and light headed though.
Could this be from the colonic?
I have never felt this way before.

Thanks again

Taht's a pretty typical healing crisis reaction. Usually it means a lack of electrolytes. Do what you can to rehydrate and replace electrolytes - salt, potassium, calcium, especially. EmergenC always helps me, or potassium broth, or Bieler broth.
