Is steaming-room as good as sauna?

Oh yes, for most people it's even better. Vata people especially need the moisture. Only Kapha people tend to do better in a dry sauna rather than steam. Just be careful not to hit any of the steam head on as it can easily cause spider vein breakage in the face.
