This weekend just past I went on a Qigong breathing weekend. I paid loads of money to attend and I had high expectancy that it would deliver some wonderful training.
It turned out to be a complete waste of time and money! Not only did the course cover nothing new, but the 2 Qigong masters kept saying how it was essential that people needed to keep going to *their* courses if they wanted real healing (they acted like they were recruiting for some exclusive religion!)
As the weekend progressed, I felt more bitter, angry and resentful. I had to make some serious sacrifices for the money I spent.
So, on returning home on Sunday night, I had a real pig out and ate loads of those fatty Indian desserts (the ones that are deep fried and then covered in syrup) .. as if that wasn't enough, I ended up at the Chinese take away and had egg fried rice plus a portion of fatty duck.
The following lunch time, I had a horrible gallbladder attack! It was excruciating. I quickly took a tablespoon of epsom salts, heated up a castor oil pack and lay down to sweat it out.
On my bed, I had a copy of a healing book written by a Qigong master from China. This book was a gift to me from my wonderful friend and mentor, Owen (some of you may know him from CureZone). As I lay there in agony, I quickly flicked through the book and found a combination of mantras, visualisations and hand healing positions which I had book marked a few days back.
Within 5 minutes the pain was all gone. I drifted into a blissful sleep.
When I woke, I decided to do a liver flush that night which went very well.
What I learnt from this experience:
1. Gallbladder and liver problems are related to anger and resentment (this is stated within the 5 elements chinese theories) If you have liver/gall bladder issues, work on these emotions.
2. That the moon plays an important role in timing. The moon turned into the sign of Liver (Cancer) when I had the attack
3. We can take charge of our own healing. We all have amazing powers to tap into, we don't need someone teling us they are our only hope!
Since the flush, I have been working with affirmations, mantras and Qigong methods - I am feeling sooooooooo chilled and happy!
Have a wonderful day everyone |
