Hi

Just wondered if anyone else has encountered vertigo and/or dizziness as a result of Candida. My first bout of vertigo started after a heavy course of antibiotics, and after my second pregnancy I now live in a daily state of semi-dizziness. Have read that vertigo and dizziness are symptoms of candida but have never come across anyone else that has had them. I have had an MRI on my brain which was normal (my dad said he was surprised they found one - that's dad's for you) so can only attribute the dizziness to the candida.

I would be grateful for any advice, because along with the nausea that I posted (Sick Stomach) it is really beginning to ruin my life. Feel really let down by life because as a rule I have been fairly healthy all my life (now 32) and have always eaten lots of fruit and veg and have always been a fairly constant weight (about 120 pounds) so am constantly thinking why me?

Many thanks

Zowie Crying or Very sad

PS. been on and off candida diet for nearly a year and don't seem to notice much difference?!?

Have you ever had a thorough ear cleaning to get out ear deposits? Ear drops, ear candling, even ear colonics, are great things to do when you suffer from vertigo to make sure you don't have ear wax stones.

You have to not only be on an anti-candida diet, you have to be on a very cleansing, alkaline pungent diet and routine that supports a clean liver, lymph and bowels. When the liver, bowels and lymph are messed up, that allows congestion in the ear to get out of hand.

at least one other candida person that I know of suffers from occasional vertigo/dizzyness.

Thanks Shelley, will get my kinesiologist onto it. I think she uses Ear Candles but have been too frightened to try them in case it set the vertigo off. I have never heard of ear colonics, it sounds fantastic, what are they?

Thank you so much, really appreciate the support.

ear colonics are trippy! Some colonics technicians have a special attachment for the ear that allows them to flush it very very thoroughly the same way they do the colon with slightly pressurized water. My tech friend said that the things she's seen come out would astound you! Smile

I've always found ear candling to be a very gentle experience. The only nerve wracking part of it is having a flame so close to one's hair, something that I'm paranoid about due to having very long hair most of my life. Too many times things like 4th of July sparklers or bugs get caught! One time a pet tarantula crawled right up to get warm... now I happen to like spiders but that was definitely a bit much! Laughing

I know exactly what you mean. I have got long hair and am really paranoid about things getting caught in it. Once I was feeding pigeons near Buckingham Palace (London) and a pigeon got caught in it. I have been phobic ever since. I also get really twitchy around bats!!

Thanks for the advice, as always, I will follow it up.

Hi Shelley,

Where do you find a person that does ear colonics.

I have been experiencing dizziness for 4 weeks now. Is is what I did three days before it started but not sure if this is what cause this. First day I mowed the lawn (took three hours--1 1/2 acres), next day I painted the bathroom (ceiling too)--and that day I was feeling really good, next day (3rd) I was moving furniture and doing alot of cleaning. The next morning I sat up and it started. I get dizzy just when I hit the pillow then the dizziness stops in a few seconds, same if I turn over but it last longer if I turn to the right, same if I bend over and tilt my head back to the right only not much happens to the left. After about a week I made a doc appointment and mentioned it to him and he didn't say a word--I guess cause I wasn't there for that Rolling Eyes I did have a massage at that office for an hour cause my muscles in my upper back were extremely tight that I was getting a migraine. Well the massage helped alot and then that night I did a epsom salt bath that helped some, and I took a natural muscle relaxer with valerian and that helped some--all these helped some with the muscles and the dizziness. I started going to the chiro 3x a week and had blood work done for thyroid which went down in med dose (but I haven't filled it yet until this bottle runs out)and had my hormones, iron, can't remember the rest but they all came out fine. I will list the results once I get my copies tomorrow. Well it has been about 3 weeks having adjustments and they help alot but the dizziness is still there except for this Sat. and Sun. it went away until I was waken in the middle of my sleep with dizziness again but worse along with a headache (I did move furniture again Fri and Sat. and my muscle are tight again which became better during the adjustments). In the beginning I didn't have any symptoms of sinus or ear pain except for some dull shooting pain along where your jaw muscle is and pain shooting through my ear and has gotten a little worse. Is it possible to have a mild ear infection with those sypmtoms. I have some good days of dizziness and today is the worse. I have presure in my head. I did have an adjustment today too. I have an appointment Friday at an ears, nose, and throat doc. Then I found a doc that does acupunture and is a MD who uses herbs (he is Chinese). My first appointment is July 18th. The other doc I went to that I mentioned above I have ruled him out of my doc choices. I went back to him a week after the first appointment I had with him for this dizziness and he didn't even check my neck or look into my ears...etc. I sat in the chair explain my symptoms and he told me to go to a neurologist and wrote a script for some kind of histimine that makes you sleepy. I am thinking this is maybe inner ear crytals or viral. Since I have a hypo thyroid and don't do anything for the adrenal glands, could this be related to the adrenal glands.

Gee, I forgot to mention something, hehe. Today as being my worst day is the first day I became nausous (sp?). And also prior to the other episodes if I kept moving and didn't look up I didn't get very dizzy and never nausous and had energy unless I had a headache.

The dizziness could stem from dehydration and lack of salt, so be sure you drink several rehydrating drinks with a pinch of good salt first off. After mowing more than an acre and then painting a room anyone is likely to get heat prostration and messed up electrolytes!

Next thing you may want to try is to ensure you have enough Vit B2, Vit B6, Vit B12, and iodine.

Now I'm hoping it's not due to heavy metal toxicity, but check the material safety data sheets for the cleansing agents and paint that you used. If they have warnings of toxins and off-gases, then I would do some ALA around the clock for three days, but only after rehydrating and taking B vits.

The only people who do ear colonics are colonicists who take an extra class and get the right attachment. If you can't find one, then a combo of ear treatments (vinegar or oils) and liver cleansing can usually take care of the issue.

Hope that helps! Smile
