Hi,

I have had gallstones for almost four years. I haven't been very symptomatic until now. It seems no matter what I eat, even if it's low fat or water, I ache in my sides. Sad

I'm told of course my only cure is surgery. I don't want surgery. I had a c section emergently once and that was enough for me.

I have been aching for 24 days now straight. My friend has mentioned that I should drink apple juice and apple cider together to stop the pain.

First question, would ACV cause me MORE pain? Sad

Second question, will taking ACV daily help dissolve these to a point where symptoms are not so painful?

I am interested in trying to dissolve these suckers, rather than dive into a flush. I have been researching and alot of things say it can. I'm so so tired of being in pain. I can't keep up with my 2 year old.

Please help, and my gratitude in advance!

Almost a couple hours later and my aching is increasing Sad
I'm not sure wether or not to go get the ACV.

I'd greatly appreciate some advice or input from anyone who has had this.
Thank you so much!

Hi and welcome! I haven't had your problem, but I've read on the Liver Flush forum on Curezone ( http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=447&t=50022 ) that you should take epsom salts in water if you have gallbladder pain. That should ease your symptoms.

There are many different things you can take to dissolve stones. Read Shelley's FAQs on liver management here: http://www.askshelley.com/faq.php?p=default&cat=37

Happy reading! Smile

Thanks Laura!

I've been reading everything for the past few days.

My grandma gave me epsom salt Monday and it made me feel extremely nauseated with a spinning room for an hour. Sad No more of that for me.

I guess my question is, can the ACV will cause more pain?

Can they dissolve them to a point of helping the pain?

My funds are limited, so the GCG is out of the question for me right now.

Everything is so touchy right now, I'm scared of what to actually swallow right now.

I am a single mom to my baby and I have got to get better, soon. Crying or Very sad

If anyone has any advice on apple juice or acv, experiences... anything. I really just need to calm down today. I'm pretty scared.

AH Arwen
so sorry to read that you are suffering.
Did your gran give you epsom salts from a bottle container or a bag?
WHat measurement did you try?
When I first started I dissolve mine in a small amount of boiling water, let it cool down, tip my head back and then gulp it back fast. then drink plain water to clean my palate. Now I mix a batch and drink down the glass with out much thought.

I know some people follow it with apple juice.

I drink SHelleys recipe for a cleansing drink regularly. It has the ACV in it and I have had a mild dull ache in either my kidney or intestine. Not a intense pain at all, more like just having encountered a tender spot.

Thank you Harmony!

I bit the bullet though and went to the health food store to buy me some ACV. I took a tsp in an 8 oz glass of spring water, and BOOM I'm hurting even more. Crying or Very sad Feels like a burning intermittent cramp now.

Then I took some epsom salt and nothing happened. I waited 2 hours and took more. Nothing. Just the intermittant burning pain.

I just don't know where to go from here. I already have ulcers so I had a feeling my stomach would not handle the ACV. I can't drink juices anyway, since they irritate me.

Help??

I have twinging pains on the upper right and left side, back and forth intermittantly. It's not a constant pain.

My gallbladder is so sore, when I begin to even eat something and swallow it it begins to cramp Sad

I can't see myself giving up and going to the hospital.

Last time I went in for pain, two weeks ago, they took blood and said my liver function and blood counts were perfect.

Part of me still feels like I have a chance to get better. I just don't know what things to take.

Thank's for your reply!

Sorry you aren't experiencing any relief yet.
I have terrible storms and flooding in my area the last 3 days and we keep losing power. I will check back in when I can.
I am a little concerned about the pain being both on the left and the right sides.

If it were lower I would say kidney's. In fact I am still wondering if there might not be a kidney issue, because of the pain you have with juices.
Have you read Shelley FAQ on Kidneys?
http://www.askshelley.com/faq.php

Another to read is Candida Many people have this and don't know it.

http://www.askshelley.com/faq.php?p=default&cat=43#a21
There is a active forum here dealing with this one.

Epsom salts are great to force movement in the bile ducts but very harsh on the kidneys. SO double check your symptoms against any kidney issues.
Generally I believe gallbladder and liver issues tend to be right sided. Mine was. And it was awful but never left sided.

Stomach and small intestine issues can be all over the place pain.

I really wish I had a straight up answer, but with the little info I have I say read the Candida FAQ and posts in that forum. Perhaps this might click with what you have going on.

Thank you Harmony, and sorry your power has been out!

My doctor says gallstone pain can occur on the left side as well. Everything I have read seems to indicate it can.
Sometimes the pain is right sided more than the left. It alternates or is on both sides at once.

My kidneys are fine. I had a urine test run along with blood work recently.

Arwen, check out this post

This person had a very painful gall bladder and Shelley helped him control the pain. As I recall, peppermint tea was very helpful.

Hi Arwen! Did you try the peppermint tea? Also Eater's Digest would help. It has peppermint and fennel both.

things you might want to try are:

Lecithin. Dissolves stones without causing pain. Take one teaspoon and see how you do. If you do fine, take one teaspoon 3x a day. You can take this for weeks and weeks if you also supplement calcium concurrently.

Liquid Phosfood. Take 10 drops 3x a day for 3 days and then stop.

Malic Acid. Ditto unless you take too much. Start out with just one pill (usually it's 650 mg) at a time. Then take 1 pill 3x a day. Then try two pills. If that's comfy, take 2 pills 3x a day. You can take as many as 4 pills at a time. Can take this for weeks, stop periodically just to take a break.

After about 7-10 days of taking these stone dissolvers, you can start taking the morning oil/juice cocktail. The best oil/juice cocktail for impaired gallstones goes like this:

2 tablespoons olive oil or Udo's Choice.
3-5 garlic cloves
1 inch of fresh ginger root
put into blender or food processor and blend fine.
Add to either grapefruit juice or apple juice. Use fresh squeezed if you can. Drink down.

Follow 30 minutes later with hot cereal like cream of wheat, or brown rice farina.

Eat the Cleansing Carrot Salad for lunch or dinner.

You can do this for about two weeks, then get a colonic, take a break, and repeat, starting with stone dissolvers for one week, then add the oil/juice cocktail regimen back in.

Repeat until all gallbladder symptoms are gone and digestive is strong. Be sure to read the guidelines for digestive power and follow them carefully.
Eat beets or juice them (just half a one a day is all you can have) too.

Good luck! Smile
