So many advisers say that nuts are hard on the liver. What does this mean? How are nuts hard on the liver? Thanks!

Goodness, who says that?

Nuts are highly concentrated foods, and complex foods are tougher to digest - require more work - but soaking and grinding takes care of that. Smile

Well surely this can only be relevant if these "advisers" are talking about nuts that have been roasted/fried in hydrogenated vegetable oil such as cashews or peanuts. Otherwise raw nuts like almonds, brazil nuts and pecan nuts are top notch for your health; they are full of great omega oils amongst other nutrients.
