| Can I make congee in a crock pot? I thought I read that somewhere in the forums, but now I can't find it. If I do it that way, do I add hot water to it, or just let it heat up in the crock. How mush water per rice do I do?Thanks |

You can do it in the crockpot no problem. Just follow the directions as usual - start wtih boiling water, most people like a 4 to 1 ratio of water to rice, but it depends on the rice and what kind of congee you wish to make. Leave the crockpot on the lowest setting. |

Oh my! I guess the lowest setting doesn't cut it! LOL! OH dear oh dear. Try again with a bit higher setting then. The lid must not be tight enough. |
