Hi Shelley,
I was wondering if Amy's Organic frozen dinners are healthy? I have a very busy schedule right now so I have 0 time to cook. Was wondering if these would be a healthy option?

Thank you,

Hiya Katia! Smile

They start out with better ingredients than other frozen dinners, so that puts them up ahead of the crowd right there. Then if you use an oven rather than a microwave that's another huge push towards health.

I must say I rely on Amy's about once a week when I get really pushed for time, and so far I've had NO negative reactions to them at ALL, and I am really very sensitive to food additives. I also like Stouffers.

Hi again Very Happy
Are they all healthy or should some be avoided?
For example I really love their pizza toaster pops (I usually have 2 of these for a meal.. is that too much?) and veggie lazagnia. Are those fine to have too?

It really depends on how processed they are. Lasagna doesn't need much processing to become lasagna, but a pizza thingie? Hmmmm!

Personally, I'm addicted to Cedarlane's burrito grande with chili verde sauce----YUMM-O!! It does have a flour tortilla, which isn't good since I'm trying to do anti-candida, but it's a little spicy so my twisted reasoning is that that helps to cut the effects of the tortilla. Wink If you haven't tried these, you simply must!

that's not twisted reasoning, that's pungent therapy! which does indeed mitigate the effects. And if you're not sensitive to gluten grains, then there's really no problem at all. Smile
