Hi Shelley and Friends,
I was thinking of buying a good "B' Vitamin supplement.

Q:Is it best to take natural "Kal" Yeast flakes..or -as advertised here-Solrays 100:100mg`s...
Is there a danger ofthe liver getting overloaded with this amount of B vitamins?

Muchos Grasias.

I much prefer Nutritional yeast flakes to any pill I've swallowed. It has more benefits than just B's and is much much much cheaper. I immediately felt better, energized, first time I took it and if I skip a couple days I can really feel it again. If I take it near-daily I don't tend to feel the highs/lows, I just feel balanced, which is great. Smile

With pills I could never sense much difference. I just say my pee turn yellow. Wink Emergen-C's and Cal-Mag Fizz's B vits do tend to do me lots of good, however.

The only advantage pills have is better calibration (assuming it's a reputable company like solaray) so you can target your dose correctly. But no manufacturer knows exactly how much of each B you need in their version of a B vit complex, and buying each one separately is cost prohibitive.

Candida people might want to do NYF and then buy Biotin and B6 to target the deficiencies that go hand-in-hand with candida and adrenal exhaustion. That would be a very good compromise.

I agree with Shelley. The ONLY way I don't get the up/down feeling when I drink a fresh juice is to take the nutritional yeast just before. It must be the chromium GTF in it.

Shelley,
What`s; NYF? Also how do you take your Yeast flakes? What do they go with? (Besides Kichadi which is soooo awsome!)
