G'Day Shelley!
As I have posted in CureZone before, the doctors and other natural healers I am seeing are not sure if I am also Coeliac (Celiac) as well as having a Candida problem. The test for Coeliac needs to be done WHILE eating wheat and as I have only been out of hospital a few months I am not strong enough to eat wheat for a whole week without ending up bed ridden.
My query is this... I woke up last night with very bad flatulence and stomach cramps and knew it was something I ate. I am so cautious of foods I have and I do not have wheat/gluten/yeast and refined sugars, basically I am on a very strict Candida diet. When I woke this morning my stomach cramps were worse and my BM was floating and rough/chunky, so I knew something I ate had wheat in it. After some investigation of yesterdays consumption, I was correct and it was simply the 4 Eucalyptus lollies I had (have malt and wheat glucose in them).
I am predominantly Pitta. So I tend to eat raw juices of vege and fruit and salads plus raw sea foods. The smallest amount of wheat gives BM's that float and are rough texture (colour is fine). Is this strong indication of Coeliac or can it be a sign of Candida also? |

No, that would be a very strong sign of celiac disease, oh yes!
Candida does lots of wonkyness to the body, but an extreme food intolerance like that is not really related to yeasties so much. See, the body doesn't care if yeasties are happy or unhappy. They have a particular job and if they do it, great. No need to cause diarrhea just to keep the yeasties happy.
For the body to react that strongly it has to be a particular food intolerance, allergy or poisoning as in unfriendly bacteria. Since we know it's not spoiled, rotten food that did it, and since you didn't get hives or mucous, it has to be celiac disease type intolerance. |

| Thank you for your reply; I have suspected that I am true Coeliac for some time now as I used to eat wheat (without knowing) in just about everything I ate. I guess I just have to stick to a Candida and Coeliac diet for a while and bring foods back gradually after at least a year of strict eating. I am told that the Coeliac could have formed after years of Candida problems (that I didn't know was Candida until the past 3 months). My tongue is now clear and my fungus on my toenails has cleared up completely. I could just be Coeliac now. Hopefully that may heal or go away after time. |

Absolutely. I was able to clear up the candida quite quickly, about 3 months, but certain food intolerances did stick around for quite awhile after that, like another 9. But now I can eat practically anything - yippeeeee! I'm sure you'll get there too! |
