Hi Shelley,
Okay, so I am back to having green bm's. I am producing a ton each time I go, but instead of the normal walnut brown, I am now getting medium to dark green. They are fully formed, etc. This only started about a week and a half after I finished my week long liver cleanse and after I released all that muck.
If I take a probiotic, my bm will be a very light brown the next morning. If I don't take the probiotic, then I am back to green bm's. I am off almost everything until I figure this out. I tried skipping Superfood for two days to see if it could be that - but the bm is green whether I drink the Superfood or not. I also ate peas last night for dinner and their shells were visible in the water this morning so my transit time must be pretty fast.
What gives? Should I be taking something here, let it go????? Your thoughts?
Thanks! |

| Sounds like you're either low in microbes or transit times are just too darn fast for them to get their work done! Have you monitored the exact transit times? When was the meal with peas, for instance, and when did they come out? |

I had dinner (with the peas) last night at 5:30 p.m. I had a morning bm at around 10:30 a.m. That is when I saw the green bm with several pea casings. I had two green bm's yesterday - one in the morning and one right after dinner.
If I am low on microbes, what do you suggest I take to repopulate? Also, I do notice that if I take 2 capsules of my probiotic, then my bm's do turn a VERY light brown - but not the walnut brown they usually are.
Thanks! |

| Kefir definitely, do an enema implant too. Any other fermented foods you can such as Bragg's ACV. I doubt you need PRimal Defense at this point. |

Okay, I have the Bragg's ACV as I use it in my morning cleansing drink. How many drinks do you recommend per day? I usually only have 1.
Also, can you please refresh my memory - what is kefir? I have heard it referenced but never bought it before. How often should I eat it, etc.?
Should I continue with my probiotics?
Thanks! |

Kefir is yogurt with extra oomph. You can use it the same way you would yogurt. Just 1/2 a cup a day several days a week is all you really need, depends on your dosha. Be sure to get organic and preferably unsweetened and then add your own sweetener as needed. I use it on berries and in smoothies. |

| Shelley, do you make your own kefir? I used to make raw goat milk kefir but school started and didn't have the time or $. I haven't had any ever since because I thought it wasn't good to drink kefir made from pasteurized milk like the ones sold in health food stores. What kefir do you recommend? Thanks! |

I don't make my own yet, never had the refrigerator space since I live with so many adults and we all have different diet preferances.
I've done fine with store bought. As long as it's organic and unsweetened it's fine, done the right way. You may even be able to find goat kefir. |

Right, such as if you are like me, a Vata/Pita combo, you'd prefer to have it every meal.....or FOR every meal.
Kefir rocks. I use plain unsweetened by Helios. |
