Hello Shelley
I hope you are well. I just wanted to say that I have been following the supplement plan you recommended for my gallbladder problems and it has worked! I am free of that awful pain! Many thanks Shelley.
I just have one question if I may. I have been drinking lots of the peppermint tea you suggested (very soothing) - anyhow it makes my stools go very dark - and erm..well..not particularly nice smelling either (sorry). Why does the peppermint tea have this effect and is it a positive sign ?
Thanks for any info. Shelley
Love and Best Wishes

I'm so glad I was able to help! yipeee!
Peppermint tea does lots of amazing things, including aiding the liver to produce more bile if you are also ttaking in good oils. IF the liver is full of stuff it has filtered out of the bloodstream but has been unable to release, such as dead red blood cells, the tea will help it get rid of it. That will turn your stools darker and yep, smellier. It's a very gentle, painless cleasne, so keep it up and hopefully those stools will get a mite lighter as the liver is cleaned out. |

Grasshopper is your new membership group title. It changes depending on the number of posts you post.
Dead yeast cells don't necessarily end up in the liver unless they were in the bloodstream, but even then it's mostly the lymph that deal with them. |

It's best if teas are organic but I don't worry about it too much.
Yes, peppermint tea is strong enough that you should take breaks from it. All herbs and spices and most whole foods should be rotated. Anything that helps will hurt over time with constant use = abuse. |

I have tendancy to do that unfortunately ...
I can't seem to find the right balance anymore ...
When I like a food ... or I read that it's superhealthy etc ... I eat it forever ,
then when I find or hear of something else ... I eat it over and over again etc ...
I HAVE REALLY LOST MY WAY WITH FOOD
mostly because we r so bombarded DAILY ... THE PERRICONE PLAN... THE ATKINS PLAN , then the ACID/ALKALINE/ ...
RAW FOODS ... THE ZONE ... HIGH CARBS ... low carbs .... HIGH PROTEIN, low protein ... sheeshhhhhhhhhhh
I would really need for u to make me a HEALTHY EATING PLAN for the next six months !!!!
Can we work this out somehow???
Maybe this could be a new business for YOU ...
Helping people to eat NORMALLY and HEALTHY again
YOU truly r all about MODERATION and BALANCE ... it's so refreshing and inspiring !!! |

Hi again Shelley
What about green tea and walnuts ??
I've read that these both indeed stain the teeth ...
Fact or fiction ?
Any other foods besides coffee ??
I can't find a section in the FAQ that speaks to this subject
Thank-u very much |

I'm trying to find a list of teas that we can use on a "daily basis" VERSUS the ones that u can ONLY occasionally ...
I think Shelley has provided this list somewhere; however,
I've done a few searches and have come up empty handed ...
The teas I'm mostly interested in r:
Dandelion,
Burdock
Ginger,
Peppermint,
Rosemary,
Fennel,
Rooibos,
Cranberry,
Chamomille,
Licorice root,
Yerba matte,
Green tea
and
White tea
Thank-u and Cheers |

Thanks Shelley ... I usually drink fennel tea twice a week or so and same goes for my licorice/greentea blend;
however I've been drinking chamomile perhaps 3-4 nights per week ... is this considered too much by ur standards ??
Have a great weekend |
