Hi Shelley
Firstly, thank you. I've been reading and reading and reading in hopes to help my acne. Im 27, small build and have decided it's time to get on top of this.

My problem is that I live in the middle of Switzerland and it is SOOOO tough getting things here. Confused I wonder if you or anyone could help me with some questions...

This is where I'm at: drinking cleansing drink x2 a day. Eating cleansing salad, Kichadi for dinner, taking Lecithin x3 a day, drinking herbal teas, taking milk thistle, eating apples, drinking apple juice, taking olive oil x3 a day, eating fibre for breakfast with raisins, doing garlic.
Where I'm going (i think...): I want to do my first liver flush this weekend...am having a sauna tomorrow.

The thing is...i can't get any enema's done here. They've never heard of them. I can't buy something here either. If I order anything, it's expensive, plus it takes so long. For example, I've ordered oxypowder and Planetary formula Liver cleanse but these things will take a few weeks to arrive.

I have the magnesium and oil for the flush...i'm just worried about the enema.

Is the SWF enough? Do you have any suggestions for something I could put together here, without buying a full out enema kit from overseas? Also, for the protein drink, what can I do instead of the Vanilla Rice Dream? I've changed to Goat's milk for everything now...not good on dairy product...can I use that?

I don't know...am I on the right track? On what do you suggest for me to go on from here?

Thank you. Any suggestions - much appreciated Shelley and Friends.

Hi Shell! Nice to hear from you. Wow, Switzerland! I got to motor on thru there when I was working in Europe. Spent the night on Lake Lucerne then visited Lake Zurich. Beautiful country you have there! It was November and overcast so I didn't get to see the snow-capped mountains so I'll have to go back there someday to see what I missed. Smile

You've made quite a good start on everything, I'm impressed!

A SWF is quite thorough, in fact, if it's done right, it's more thorough than an enema. It's just annoying because you have to taste all that salt.

If you don't have kidney issues you can do an Epsom salt flush like Dr. Clark suggests, if you can find magnesium sulphate or magnesium citrate? I don't like them because they tend to give you a hangover, but they WILL clean you out. Wink

If you read up on Colema boards, or find Dr. Jensen's books, you can find blueprints on building your own enema bucket and colema board. You don't have to make the board, the bucket is sufficient. You take a plastic bucket, drill a hole in the side towards the bottom, insert surgical tubing, get a clamp to control water flow, and preferably a bit of thinner tubing for insertion into the rectum. Surgical tubing can be had from any medical supply store and buckets from just about anywhere. There's a site that may help you out, I think it's www.colema-boards.com? or colemaboardsusa?

Goat's milk is great stuff. So long as they are happy goats mostly roaming free, stick with the goat milk. If they're not, rice milk and almond milk are very very easy to make at home. You just need a blender or food processor.

Hope that helps! Smile

Thank you, Shelley!
One other question...I don't read much about Green Tea here...but I love the stuff. Do you think it's ok for acne prone people? I personally haven't noticed it making my acne worse, but does anyone have any comments on that?

I'm 36, and I've always had acne. I have completed two liver flushes, and my acne is completely gone! I had tried different diets and supplements, and topical treatments, but the liver flushes are what finally did it. I hope you have the same success!

Also, for the salt water flush, I add lemon juice and drink it very warm like tea. This makes it very tolerable for me. You just have to try and drink it all within 15 minutes if possible...

Green tea is fine in moderation, you just have to find your personal limits with it. It is a diuretic and has caffeine, so best avoided late at night. It does have health benefits. I promote experimenting with all of Japanese cuisine, such as their sunamomo salad, miso soup, pickled ginger, umeboshi plums, pickled cabbage, burdock root, their foods and overall diet are much more balanced than Western diets and they have the longevity to prove it.

Vata people don't tend to need stimulants and do better to avoid them, but slower-moving Kapha people adore stimulants, they help them get thru busy days and we could all use a boost every now and again. Wink

I occasionally have Yogi Tea's Green Tea Chai as the spices help digestion so much and it's very tasty. Smile
