| Inulin is a carb fiber that is considered a prebiotic - it helps feed the friendlies. However, people with candida need to be careful with prebiotics, as some of us have noticed that they feed the yeasties too. Inulin seems to be one of the best tho for feeding the friendlies and killing the baddies, but best to use with caution. |

HI SHELLY, I WAS READING THAT CHICORY HAS INULIN NATURALLY WOULD THAT MEAN THE SAME TO WHAT YOU WROTE ABOVE--DOES THAT MEAN CHICORY WOULD BE CONSIDERED A CARB FIBER----CAUSE I WAS THINKING OF BUYING IT BULK IN ROASTED FORM. |

| Yes it would be a carb fiber if it has inulin. However. you don't actually swallow the chicory do you? You filter water thru it. Not an issue. |

| OK thanks that's great. Yes coffee sub with only roasted chicory for the liver. If I can still do the liver cleanse,hehe.(from other post) |
