Hi Shelley:
When a parasite cleanse is recommended?
Which products do you recommend for a good cleanse?
My stools are pretty normal at this moment but how can I know if I need a parasite cleanse.
Thanks for your help,

Hi Conancillo! The information on parasites will be in the FAQ, whcih should be avaiable by the weekend. Here's some of it just to get you started:
Basics of Parasite Management
Parasites are creatures large and small that live off a host. The small are microbes such as bacteria and protozoa, the large are flukes and worms such as pinworms, flatworms, tapeworms, heartworms. Parasites are designed to live off our own nutrients without betraying their presence.
Pinworms are easier to detect than other worms as they will make their way outside of the anus to lay their eggs. Noctorunal anal itching may be pinworms. Children commonly get them. Since the eggs survive outside the body, you must thoroughly cleanse all bedding, towels and clothes, and vacuum thoroughly.
People who have had years of impaired immunity, chronic complaints or cancer should just go ahead and do a parasite cleanse. Even if parasites are not the cause of these complaints, the original issue may have weakened your body to such an extent that parasites see you as a viable host.
A study of all kinds of parasites reveals that pests tend to go where they are welcome. A completely healthy animal or plant will simply not attract pests. In fact, fertilizing a plant is much more effective than pesticides in keeping insects balanced in a garden.
The profile of people who may be infected goes something like this:
eat raw meats and fish
frequently around children, dirt or pets, rural areas
in contact with damp areas, stagnant water, fleas, ticks, mosquitos
habitually take antacids
Has chronic complaints ranging from: insomnia; bruxism (teeth grinding); TMJ; mucous in the stools; ulcerative colitis; ulcers; nausea; dizzyness; general feeling of listlessness; various digestive complaints; diarrhea; body odor; bad breath; frozen shoulder; roseacea; acne; depression.

Testing for Parasites
The first test is the profile above - if you fit more than 3 of the parameters, you should continue on to the candida test and parasite expulsion protocol.
The candida test is in the candida notes. If you have candida, you may want to focus on just candida, especially if you contracted it due to taking antibiotics. Chances are you don't have parasites, you just have systemic candidiasis, and the protocols are vastly different. Best to just focus on candida at first and maybe do the expulsion test after you've been on the anti-candida diet for awhile, or if the candida diet is negative.
You can have your stool tested for parasites, but since they are so good at hiding, a negative result is not conclusive, so it might not be worth your money. If you do decide to send a stool sample, don't gather the sample until you've been doing the parasite expulsion protocol for at least 6 days.
Great Smoky Mountain labs (800-522-4762) does parasite testing, including yeast.
You can start a parasite cleanse for 14 days and if you don't see a baddy, stop, or you can do the expulsion protocol to ensure that a parasite cleanse is necessary. |

It depends on the parasite.
If you're not sure which parasite you have but are pretty sure you have the larger worms and flukes, the safest is food-grade diamataceous earth, which cuts them right up without hurting us at all.
If you want to use ready-made herbs, Parastory and Colonix are probably the most effective.
If you have Pinworms, pharmecuetical solutions are fine, or PinX.
If you have flukes in the liver, a combo of bowel management, herbs, liver flushing and zapping may be required to fully rid you of them.
If you only have microbe-sized parasites like protazoa and bacteria or yeast, then thorough cleansing, controlled diet, colloidial silver, GSE, garlic, Pau D'arco and the Microbial Balancing System from Perelandra would be your best bet. |

Hi Again ,
What herbs do you recommend to get rid of liver flukes? Also, can you explain why you recommended parastroy as opposed to Clarkia (wormwood, cloves and black walnut). I finished a 2-week protocol of Clarkia 9 days ago. I need to do another 2-weeks. I will start tomorrow. I was very confused about waiting one or two weeks between protocols. There are such differences in opionions! Yikes! Some people suggest you do a round of this four times. What do you think? I am pretty sure I saw stuff during my first round.
Would it be better to do another round of Clarkia and then do the Parastroy. I am quite sure I will probably do the Clarkia then the Parastoy. Will this protocol kill everything? Are there other things that I could do? I have tried other anti-fungals due to the candida (oregeno oil, GSE, garlic suppliments, piles of pumkin seeds-luv them, olive leaf extract...). The first indication that something was amiss occurred when I took the oregeno oil capsules. As soon as I took them, my gums felt a little numb and there were huge rumblings in my stomach.
I also took the 3000mg of CoQ10. Nothing happened! But when I take your protein shake with the raw eggs, I always feel a bit nausous about 20 minutes later. I wondered if it had something to do with the raw enzymes...what do you think.
Once again Thanks Shelley ,

Clarkia is a good one but if I remember right it's a tincture so you can't avoid the bitter taste, right? Blech!
I recommend doing 2 rounds and then doing an expulsion test about a month later. That's in the fAQ. It's a way to see if you can see any of the larger worms and flukes and get them OUT of you if they're there. Once you have a confirmed sighting then you can decide what to do next.
A reaction to orgeno oil may not be parasites, it might just be a reaction!
The Protein Shake is very nutrient-rich and just rich-rich. This can overwhelm your digestion. More cinnamon, digestive enzymes and following it with peppermint tea helps a lot. |
