I've been using the P & B Shakes for awhile, and now I want to try your Fiber Shake recipe. I'm wondering if you have to drink the Fiber Shake quickly like you do with the P & B. Can I warm up the shake before drinking or does that alter it's effectiveness?

actually it's safest with any fiber supplementation to wait awhile so that it hydrates properly in the glass. That way you know for sure it won't get stuck somewhere it shouldn't! |

Thanks Shelley. Do you think I can also get by with smaller amounts of the oil, lemon, and vinegar--say about 1 tsp of each? I earlier tried the Cleansing Drink and think I got a reaction from the vinegar (burning, prickling feeling on my nose).
Side question: Flax Seed Tea--the seeds are strained out after brewing, right?
Sorry for all the questions!

Sure, you always have the option of changing doses to suit your needs. Chances are you'll be able to increase doses after a couple weeks, unless you have the body type that just can't handle a lot of citrus juices/vinegar.
No, you leave the seeds in, for the bulk fiber supplementation. This ensures that they pass very very easily. |

| Do you use whole or ground flax seeds in flax seed tea? |

either. Ground is a bit easier to swallow. |
