|

| I've just started my adrenal protocol three days ago. I'm drinking licorice tea three times a day...twice a day I add my ashwagandha and gota kola. So I've had maybe 9 or so licorice teas. Today I started my period five days early...is there any correlation? I'm usually one day right or left but it never fluxuates from that...Could this be cause by the licorice (I've read its estrogenic) I have no idea if I'm high/low estrogen because my stupid doctor checked my estrogen, but not my progesterone or testosterone. I just dont understand why doctors do that? whats the use? Anyway curious if I should stay on the licorice? Thanks! |

| Yep, licorice is estrogenic. Definitely back off for a bit, concentrate on the Ashwaganda and Gotu Kola for awhile. Don't take any licorice whilst menstruating or it could bring on icky symptoms for you. You may want to swtich from licorice to Ginseng, ginseng is not nearly as estrogenic as licorice. |

Can I use the ashwagnada and gota kola by themselves now so i dont have to buy another supplement? and can i just mix them in water or another tea ???what way should i take them. I bought the tinctures. Its so hard to know how much im taking with the tinctures though...i wont buy them again!!!
im getting some hcl this week and will do the stomach test asap. i have a good feeling about it. ive been taking the cleansing drink (well kind of my version) 1tbs of black molasses, 1 tbs acv and 1/2 lemon in water twice a day...my hair is coming out more but i THINK i feel regrowth. ???? im hoping the drink is causing my stomach acids to work (i dont think they are) and its bringing my potassium/sodium levels up!! i hope i hope.
also i know this is probably stupid but are sodium/iodine the same thing? my sodium is low so ive been using sea salt on my food...thanks! |

sea salt has iodine so that's good. You probably need more iodine than that tho about once every 10 days.
Yep, you can use the ashwaganda and gotu kola by themselves no rpoblem. Use a full dropperful 2x a day. |
