It's necessary to take calcium/magnesium every day you:
don't eat broccoli or other dark leafy greens
don't drink milk or other dairy sources
DO use your muscles, sweat, detox
To be sure you need it, test your supplement with kinesiology. Even when I'm not cleansing I need 500/250 mg of calcium/mag at least 6 days a week. I rarely need 1000, which is the RDA.
Chromium is a great mineral to take IF you have blood sugar problems. If you don't have hypoglycemia, then the amount in Emergen-C should be all you need. I highly recommend that people take Emergen-C at least 3x a week. Chromium is also essential for copper overdose, and increased susceptibility to infection.
