Hi Shelley,

i did my 6th flush yesterday. I prepared it with Gold Coin Grass which worked - most of the stuff came out dissolved. I took Colosan one week before the flush and cleaned the kidneys before too. That helped - i didn't develop problems with the kidneys this flush Smile . (At the moment i'm sipping pottasium broth Wink .)

But in every flush i had to throw up approximately 3 hours after drinking the oil/grapefruit mixture. As well yesterday. Crying or Very sad

I already alleviated the amount of the mixture yesterday.

I thought the throwing up is due too congested liver? As i read a russian recipe of the flush which tells to sit during the flush i think about trying this next time.

Any idea what might help?

Thank you very much in advance!

Blessings

Luz

If the oils and toxins sit in the small intestine too long, the body will decide it's more "expedient" to get them out via purging (vomiting). Usually it's happy to just send it down the pipe.

To help forestall vomiting, don't use a lot of epsom salts - if you use them - as magnesium overdose will cause vomiting very easily.

Drink a small cup of very strong peppermint tea about 30 minutes prior to drinking the oil and juice. You can combine it with fennel too.

only drink 1/2 cup of oil and about 3/4 cups of juice. Then suck on peppermint candies, like Altoids, to further relax the small intestine.

Don't lie flat, it really helps to be UP. One recipe called for standing up and walking up all night, but sitting up should be good enough, or lying raised up on several pillows. I find it really helps to massage the abdominal area, and to press underneath the ribs and down on the right side to help the liver/gallbladder flush.

Hope that helps! Smile

WOW!

What a quick reply, thank you very much Shelley!

Yes, i definetively will use less epsom salt next time. In the last flushes i took the dose mentioned in the Clark flush. But as i'm very lean and short this is maybe too much.

The recipe says not to drink or eat anything after 2 p.m., otherwise one could throw up. Because of this i would never had the idea to drink peppermint tea before the oil-mixture...

I sucked a peppermint after the mixture, but that was obviously to less.

I think i lay to flat, even with a little extra-pillow.

Next time i will include your tips!

Thank you again

Hi Luz,
Nice to meet you.

I like sipping on the peppermint tea. I generally prop my self up in bed and read for a while with a heating pad for comfort.

In Shelley FAQ section she mentions the portions in the olive oil grapefruit juice combo. If I remember right she talks about that being a rather large dose, perhaps intented for bigger people. Maybe you might want to adjust the quantities a bit. Just a thought. I hope your next one goes better for you.

Be well,

Harmony

Hi Harmony,

nice to meet you, too.

Thanks for your message. I will sit during the next flush (at least the first 3 hours Confused )

I spoke to Rebecca from "Sensible Health" too, and she as well appreciates that the regular throwing up is due to a to congested liver. I will try a bit of Chinese bitters before the next flush, i will decrease the oil-mix and as i said, sit and suck a pack of peppermint candies Wink .

Take care

I've done about 15 liver flushes and only threw up once from one that I did during the day. You may consider trying to sleep immediately after drinking the "potion", as well as lying on your back with two pillows under your head. That is the only way I can keep myself from throwing up; perhaps it will help you too Smile Good luck!!
