Hi again Shelley

I have had Candida for about 2 years now. I am only 28. My symptoms have left me out of work for about a year mostly the fact that I feel as if I am constantly dreaming. I cant even drive.
My doctor has just diagnosed me with WTS and I am on my third cycle and my temp has gone up a little. I am not feeling better yet but I have been praying that it will somehow help cure me of candida and I will be able to get on with my life.

I was wondering if you had an opinion about WTS and wether you thought it was legitamit or not in fighting candida.

A depressed thyroid (and adrenals) is part of the cycle that is candida. Either candida caused the issue, or the weakened endocrine system allowed candida to over-run things, either way. Sugar will do both, so usually the original culprit is a diet that is too high in sugar and grains.

going on my candida diet and drinking a lot of Protein Shakes, Cleansing Drinks and Ultimate Tonic Smoothies (see FAQ for recipes) will help strengthen your tissue, endocrine system, immune system, replace friendly flora so the yeast can't take over anymore, etc. Liver cleansing (herbs and nutrients that support a clean liver) is essential so your body can start converting thyroid hormones the way it should.
