Has anyone tried the oral chelation?
We just received some information on it, and I guess I would like to know if it works as good as they say, my husband is thinking of usung it along with just minerals as he has a heart attack about 7 years ago and a double bypass 6 years ago, heart trouble runs in his family and he is really wondering if this will help him.
Any info on this would be much appreciated. |

The product called "Oral Chelation" that is introduced with the typical used-car salesman technique of high-buzz and plenty of testimonials is suspect.
Oral Chelation is actually just Taheebo, an herb/root with powerful anti-oxidant and free-radical scavenging properties. Once it was discovered that this plant could do lots of good, MLM companies jumped into the fray and started selling pills of Taheebo and claiming it would cure everything from angina to prostatis. The problem is, it is IMPOSSIBLE to have the active alkaloids in a pill form. You must drink tea or a tincture, and most of the products do not say clearly which you are buying exactly, and don't always have good concentrations of the active alkaloids.
Here's a good article on that:

The best cure for heart disease in men is a combination of:
Blood Purifiers like burdock root (see FAQ for list)
Liver and bowel management - especially if this has never been done and the patient is 40 or over
Anti-oxidants - there are many sources of these, from Vitamin C type supplements like Emergen-C to fruit/veggie based supplements like Garden of Life's anti-oxidant formula that is very powerful to freshly squeezed veggie and fruit juices like Noni, etc.
a pure, mostly sugar-free diet of whole foods, much like the candida diet or mediterranean diet, for at least 6-9 months. NO sodas, coffee at a minimum, no phony foods like non-dairy creamer and margarine. Lots of garlic, onion, berries - vein food, and skin food (see FAQ for list).
Therapeutic doses of good oils and Omega 3's and Lecithin. Cod liver oil is highly recommended. See Protein Shake recipe. Men need LOTS of linoleic and linolenic acids!!!
Pungent therapy (see FAQ) and following the guidelines for increasing digestive power (in FAQ) so that the tongue is always free of any coating.
Gentle, steady and regular cardiovascular exercise
other circulation aids like the Cleansing Drink and blood thinners (cayenne, ginger, garlic, onion, aspirin).
Avoidance of stress and toxic situations/people
drinking at least 50 ounces of fluids a day, preferably as filtered water, cleansing drink, herbal/digestive teas, freshly-squeezed juices, and traditional bone and veggie broths.
Also, be sure to keep a bottle of Cayenne Tincture on hand. Administer 5 drops sublingually whenever angina or stroke is experienced. Wait 10 minutes, if symptoms have not subsided, adminster another 5 drops. Will stop a heart attack or stroke before 911 arrives!
The above combination will scour the arteries of placque deposits and rebuild healthy tissues.
Hope that helps! |

oh a P.S. - forget to mention you can diagnose deficiencies based on what side of the chest the angina attacks. If right side (HIS right), it's low B15. If left side, Vitamin E.
