Shelley,
I did my weekly enema this morning and I do the coffee kind. But I didnt feel like one was enough since I had suck a small BM before the enema. You said the coffee enema is strong and shouldnt do more than one in the morning. Is it ok to do a salt water one just to clean out then do the coffee?
next thing is, my hubby is doing great with is rosecea. He has done 4 liver flushes and is finally doing weekly enemas Now he knows what all the hype is about. However, his colon seems to be less willing to work than it did before all this cleansing. He has tried P&B shakes but only goes if he uses oxypowder. Triphala does nothing, and we tried Christophers LB formula. 4 pills do a little. He gags on flaxseed if I let it stand in the water before he drinks it. He will however, put it on his cereal. Ok, all that history should help. I dont know what to do with him. He is really willing to do alot, except drink the gel tasting fiber.
Thanks

Yes, I always do a "flushing" type salt water enema before any kind of retention enema, otherwise there could be things impeding the flow of the coffee.
He doesn't have to let it sit IF he chases the fiber shake with another glass of water or lemon/acv water.
It depends where the fiber is getting hung up which aid he should use. If it's getting hung up in the small intestine, nothing beats Fennel/Peppermint/Ginger tea - the Eater's Digest or similar. Fennel is essential for this. He should end his evening wtih a cup of warm simmered milk or prune juice too.
If it's getting stuck in the colon, then enema or glycerin tab suppository or retention enema of 1/2 oil mixed with 2 cups warm water would be best.
Or it could be that he just needs to make his intestines more slippery, in which case flax seed tea plus marshmallow and slippery elm would be best, or have him take just 5 pills of Sonne's Perfect 7 Intestinal Cleanser. It will give him more fiber and a bit of Cascara Sagrada which is a good all-around laxative.
So, lots of options to choose from! |
