A friend of mine asked me about an alternative to pain medication in relation to dealing with a recent problem she is experiencing, maybe in the last year (as she's gained weight). It's breast swelling and pain during PMS. Honestly it's so bad she can't walk without them hurting, and it's lasts for over a week.

Wearing a sports bra helps, but she'd really like to know if their are any changes she can make to her diet that will really reduce it. SHe also said it seems like this, as well as all other PMS symptoms are getting worse each month.
She knows it's related to health, whenshe's exercising and eating well she has less cramps and bloating.

I myself don't experience physical pms issues (lucky me), so I really had nothing to offer her beyond the basics of a cleaner diet and excercise.

Any thoughts as to specific foods etc.. would be appreciated.
Thanks bunches

It sounds like she is estrogen dominant and should avoid all estrogenic foods like flax seed oil, evening primrose, and start exercising and sweating more often. She might want to consider taking Vitex, the only herb that really regulates estrogen correctly. Julia Chang's tincture Fem-Mate has it.

She should also do liver maintenance, at the very least, herbs, and consider doing 2 flushes. Her filter is clogged and that's causing more estrogen dumping and consequently more pain, more estrogen tissues where they shouldn't be - which hurts - and more fat around the abdomen and thighs.

Women who have lots of PMS symptoms and menstrual cramps are usually deficient in Zinc and Cal-Mag-Fizz nutrients.

Hope that helps! Smile
